Breakfast was good ! Had an indoor and outdoor pool
I paid for a queen bed but the bed seemed like a full bed. Judging by my bed at home.
Modest, but well within the expectations, clean rooms, friendly staff
Both rooms had a persistent smell of slate water. We didn’t complain as we came in late and were leaving early
Overall, it was a great place to stay. The staff were more than welcoming and made you feel like home.
The AC unit in our room has a constant noise to it. Ended up being like white noise, but it took a short bit to get to sleep.
Location, bed comfort, breakfast
We were looking for a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price, so we could spend our money on other things. The yankee inn fit the bill!
Some of the fixtures looked tied and dated.
The location. I was going to Tanglewood with family.
The room was small and dated. The bathroom was small and dated. There were not enough towels for the number of guests. There were problems with my reservation. It was an unsatisfactory experience.
This was a $120 room- priced at 5X the amount. Inexcusable price gouging
Everything. Utterly uncomfortable. Booked a king. Got 2 doubles. Website in no way matched reality.
Room 412 was newer and comfortable
At first we were put in the old building in Room 217 and it was dated and grungy.
The location is awesome for our purposes.
We have stayed there many times. The last time wasn't quite as good as usual. It was a busy weekend with local events so the price was much higher than usual. We usually get a room close to the main entrance, but the last time we were put in another building entirely with loud neighbors on both sides blasting music into the early morning hours and then an equally loud television. We always use the pool and hot tub, but the last time, there was a large family in the pool area taking up all of the facilities and videotaping everything they were doing with their phones. We tried to stay out of the picture and asked them to not film, but then they yelled profanities at us and started filming us directly. We took a break from staying there but will try again once the obnoxious entitled Summer crowds leave.
Perfect location for a trip to Tanglewood and the outdoor pool was lovely!
Management did the right thing. They moved us to a room (305) in the main building. This made the difference between a really bad experience and a good one
He're are the details. We took our room based on the location and the BOOKING.COM reviews and pictures. The pictures of the room and property are misleading. We requested a room with a queen bed non-smoking room. We were given a room (#203) in the old motel building and it was terrible; musty smell, lights that didn't work , and had dark carpeting and poor lighting. Not at all like the pictures on the website. We turned the AC on high and opened the doors to hopefully air the room. We went out and then returned to the room later. It was still toxic
Close to Tanglewood, clean and comfortable room (the bed was just a bit noisy, I think it was the frame). The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and in good condition.
I had to take a few work meetings on my computer, but the internet was not fast enough to prevent me from being dropped from the meeting.
cleanliness, bed comfort, location and convenience
rooms and furniture are dated
Very close to Tanglewood, and hard to find a good place, at a good price, right in Lenox!
Staff and property were amazing! It definitely had a lot of character and charm, even in the rooms. Room was very spacious and clean.
The room was a little musty, probably due to A/C turned off and on frequently. Given I was there for less than 12 hours, really hard to evaluate.
Convenient.
Hotel next door blocks part of your view. The view shown of the river is cropped. Breakfast was so so.
Great selection
Room not as described
Babila B and Pablo at the front desk were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond! It’s rare to find such good quality staff at the front desk of a hotel. The rest of the staff were also exceptional, especially the woman washing the towels. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway “home.” the breakfast was varied and very good. We would definitely stay here again.
