Great stay in a well located and friendly hotel
Pros:

SoHotel: Location, character, and service!
Pros:

Not only is the hotel in an excellent location but the historical architecture of the building and the style of the rooms were fantastic and made the stay
memorable. Everything provided by your hotel was excellent and each and every one of the hotel staff we encountered were very professional, considerate, and quick to help us out (e.g., carrying luggage up to our room, recommending places to eat/drink, housekeeping, etc.). We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Great Location
Pros:

The staff were great and very helpful. The stay was good and I think I would stay again if I was in a different room. I would have given a five-star review, but the room we stayed in was right on the intersection of Bowery and Broome, and the noise was constant. We did not have restful sleep any of the three nights we were there. Besides that (which was something the hotel couldn’t do much about), the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is really great and right in the center of Chinatown and Little Italy. There’s a ton of great stuff right in the area, and if you want to do something farther away, the nearest subway stations are a five to ten minute walk away.

Pros:

It was really moody and cool looking inside!

Cons:

The walls and doors are REALLY thin. We heard peoples whole conversations and doors closing all night long.

Pros:

Well when I asked for an iron, the cleaning lady went out of her way to get me one. When we complained about the thermostat in the room not working, the lady got a heater for my room. When I asked the front desk for tea they got hot water and milk.

Cons:

I didnt like that we had to walk up 3 flights because there was no elevator. I didn’t like that fact that the thermostat wasn’t properly working. It was cold that first night so my husband was very cold. I was glad that the next day was warmer and so we didn’t have to deal with cold temps but we had the heater if we need it.
