The Westin Shenyang

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by both front desk attendees and the executive lounge staff. As a Titanium member, I was pleasantly upgraded to a spacious two-room suite with two bathrooms. Upon entering the executive lounge, Stella greeted me with my usual cappuccino with Bailey’s and a glass of my favourite candies.

Conveniently located, the Westin is within walking distance of the subway. Both the Westin and SHE Airport are on Metro Line 2. The hotel is a 3-6 minute walk from the Shitushuguan Metro station. If you’re traveling with heavy luggage, use Exit B2, which features escalators, about 6 minute walk. If you are comfortable with taking the stairs, Exit C2 is a 3-minute walk from the Westin.

The hotel located near the metro station: "City library". Convenient for dinning and shopping, quiet room. clean and spacious. The staff is very helpful.

Everything was fine.

Nothing spectacular, average old building, very small windows. Rooms and corridor have a well preserved smoking smell. Although the hotel follows policy of strict smoking ban, the maintained odor can tell you that people heavily smoked everywhere for many years there.
Check with the type of the room they assign to you while check in, as it may hugely differ from the one you booked.
The breakfast is mainly Chinese but in general ok. Don't expect much
Better spend little more and choose newer hotels.

Stayed 3 days for business trip. The room is clean, the pillow a bit on the soft side. Amenities provided were sufficient. Its located just within walking distance to the shopping center. There is Family Mart within fhr hotel & Luckin coffee. Just outside another local mini market. Breakfast was good with lots of different variety offered. Would stay here again when I am in Shenyang

The swimming pool requires wearing swimming cap, which is nice though I couldn't enjoy until I got one. Be careful of the hot bath. That's so much hot that I couldn't put my whole body under the water

The Westin Shenyang is the best hotel in Shenyang! The hotel associates are wonderful people led by the GM Ms. Sun. She is very diligent, proactive, and a great leader. Ms. Gao helped ensure the stay was fabulous and was absolutely incredible throughout every aspect of the stay. The stay was to celebrate a wedding anniversary and the hotel went above and beyond to help ensure the stay was extra special. The warm treats, amenities, pictures, decorations, and personal touches is what one might expect from a Ritz Carlton or St. Regis stay. In fact, I would say that what the team did hear would in fact even exceed those properties and they could not have done a more spectacular job than what they did. The hotel is beautiful, centrally located. The lounge was fantastic as well as the restaurants. The rooms were beautiful. The overall staff across every department was very friendly and professional. I truly believe this is the best Westin in the world led by a very special team. One would truly regret not staying at this unique property in Shenyang!

Hotel's breakfast was great and delicious.

Great location. Easy to get to from the airport by taxi and subway. 77 metres to nearest subway exit on Line 2, which also services the airport. On check I received a nice two room suite on the 26th floor. Westin Lounge staff members are very attentive and helpful. Stella and Jason provide stellar service, even anticipating my drink desires. They make my stays at this hotel exceptionally great.

My room was very nice and great amenities.
