Very pleasant old town with many shops, restaurants and a large art gallery.
Pros:

Great location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with 1030 finish each day.

Cons:

No hotel or area information provided Sky bar closed for several days without notice. Missing plug in room sink took 3 days to replace.

We had a lovely stay but were very upset by the manager's response to our issue.
Pros:

The central location of the hotel is brilliant. The twin room we were allocated on the 3rd floor was nice but we had to change it due to issues with the safe which was not working. The staff were all very pleasant. The terrace on the 5th floor is great with a lovely view over the old city. Good breakfast. Lovely thick and soft towels. Good shower. The beds were comfortable. The use of water fountains on each floor to refill your bottles. Modern look and lovely chandeliers.

Cons:

The safe in our room was not working and we had to change the room for another one located on a lower floor. It was a rather dark room. Again, the safe was not working but it was fixed by the staff (change of batteries). We wasted 1h30 of our precious time in Lille and asked for a free drink for the upset and inconvenience as a means of compensation but we were denied it. We were not impressed by the manager's response to an issue that should not have happened! The staff should have made sure that everything was in order in the room and that the safe was ready to be used before giving the key to a new customer.
There was only one bedside table when there is plenty of space in the room for a second one.
Hardly no usable space in the tiny wardrobe.
Horrible view on the courtyard / staircase.
No space in the bathroom around the sink to put your toiletry bags.
We could hear people next door and the slamming of the doors.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Lille
Pros:

Pretty room with ensuite bathroom, in a great location. Recommend having drinks in the top terrace enjoying the views.

Pros:

Super séjour. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est exceptionnel et ils ont été super gentils avec nous et notre chien. Ils ont tout fait pour que nous nous sentions comme à la maison.

De ontbijrntruimte is te klein voor het aantal kamers. We moesten in de lobby ontbijten. Jammer.
