Nice but no sleep.
Pros:

The location was great and the staff were very nice.

Cons:

It was SO LOUD. We were on the third floor and could hear the noise from the street as well as the hotel rooftop bar. Our neighbors were partying late, 2am. I mentioned this to the front desk and was told that they were sorry.

Emplacement idéal et au calme
Pros:

Belle chambre donnant sur la grande place, personnel impéccable, ambiance feutrée malgré le nombre de chambres et la proximité du cientre touristique de la ville. L'hôtel bénéficie d'un rooftop très agréable. Une fois la voiture posée au parking public à 100m, toutes les visites se font à pied.

Great place to stay in Lille.
Pros:

Staff spoke good English and were incredibly helpful. Location was very good. Food at breakfast was fresh with lots of choice. Hotel had a historic feel and was in itself a bit of a treat. One of our party was ill while we were staying there and was very sick. Staff cleaned up the room without complaint or an extra charge. They were very kind.

Cons:

TV arrangement which was a bit on and off due to it being internet based. Would have liked it if hot drinks were available in the lobby , if we wanted to stay in a read for the afternoon, rather than having to be in our room. The roof top terrace is stunning, but fills up very quickly. It might be useful if at busy times, tables could be booked for periods of time when the terrace is open.
