The location, the room

Cons:

The breakfast was until 10:30 if you are on holiday you have to wake up early every day to be on time. The Airconditioning was not working in our room when we asked we were told ot is not the time of the year geuss that didn’t count for the muskito bites, ee had to ask for oir room to be cleaned

Zero sleep, definitely drew the short straw
Pros:

Location was great, staff were lovely, hotel and room were nice and comfortable enough.

Cons:

I've never had worse sleep in my life. The room was incredibly stuffy - there was no air conditioning as we were told they were not turning it on yet. Normally this is fine, but our room was at the top floor and looked out onto an internal stairwell - so there was no breeze and the windows were tied together and barely opened.

But the biggest problem was the room then became infested with mosquitoes, so I was overheating and being bitten constantly. We woke up covered in bites and had to kill roughly 10-15 throughout each night. By the time we got out of bed each morning there was still another 10 flying around. It was exhausting and really upsetting.
I took the quilt out of the cover to try cool down, as I needed to stay as covered as possible to avoid the bites, but was far too hot to close the window. We didn't get a single hour of sleep.

I'm guessing we just drew the short straw on rooms, as we had to take two different elevators to get to our room, the water filter on our level didn't work our entire stay, and we obviously had no view - this is fine, we booked the classic, and I get sometimes the short straw happens. But incredibly disappointed that my holiday was ruined by zero sleep and being covered in bites and welts, it was a really uncomfortable stay and I feel a bit ripped off.
It's not the staffs fault at all and they were lovely, but maybe that room shouldn't be available while the air con isn't an option.

Pros:

L'emplacement, literie et la décoration parfait

Cons:

- Pas de parking : obligée d'en réserver un à 5min à pied de l'hôtel, dommage de ne pas avoir de partenariat avec des parkings à proximité afin de les proposer aux clients moyennant un supplément.
- Quelques marches pour entrer dans l'hôtel, si vous etes en fauteuil roulant, ou avec un bébé avec poussettes... ce n'est pas l'idéal surtout qu'il n' y a pas de personnel dédié pour vous aider avec vos bagages, ce qui n'est pas digne d'un 4 étoiles.
- Le petit-déjeuner : pas assez de choix, la cuission des œufs brouillés n'était pas vraiment réussi et la salle assez petite.
- Les toilettes dans notre chambre étaient minuscules si vous faites plus 1m75 cela peut-être très compliqué.
- Excepté la décoration qui est vraiment très belle et l'emplacement qui est parfait, cela a été un séjour assez décevant.
Pour avoir fait plusieurs hôtels 4 étoiles, je pense que celui-ci devrait être un 3 étoiles peut-être haut de gamme mais certainement pas un 4.

Pros:

Excellent location on central square close to old city, cafes, restaurants. Hotel has character & modern renovated rooms. Loved comfortable bed, good shower & lots of plugs. Make sure not to have one near construction. Helpful staff. Fantastic roof bar

Cons:

Smell on main/first floor - no conditioner in shower
& beware that taxis/Uber cannot stop at front door. Some stop on other side of square (means walk with luggage across cobblestones)

Très bon séjour dans un hotel confortable et élégant. Le personnel est souriant et prévenant.
Pros:

L'hotel est magnifiquement situé près de la grande place, de la Vieille bourse et des restaurants. Par ailleurs le vieux Lille et ses musées sont proches à pied.
Les chambres sont spacieuses. jolies et la literie est impeccable.
Le petit déjeuner est bon, un peu mesuré tout de même. On aurait aimé un plateau de fromages mieux garni et une possibilité d'avoir des oeufs coq ou sur le plat à la demande.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus diversifié et copieux : fromages, oeufs et viennoiseries sont comptés. A 9heures, le choix est déjà restreint..
