A Property So Bad We Handed The Keys Straight Back!

Cons:

Not enough car parks, couldn't get any parking at the property as a result. Informed on arrival that the wifi wouldn't work as the hotel was booked out and it just didn't. Room smelt like cigarettes. New deadbolts on the door, yet the windows didn't lock properly and the curtain was see through. Building was not maintained and had graffiti on the outside walls. There isn't even a lamp in the room! Photos are completely misleading. Didn't stay the night as it felt unsafe and handed back the keys to go elsewhere. Asked for a refund and property refused. Have to place a charge back as a result.

Pros:

Very affordable and fairly close to Cairns esplanade.
Huge rooms and plenty of space for luggage etc. Very friendly reception and easy after hours check in.

Cons:

Limited on-site parking. Bathroom was dated which made it look a bit grubby.
