Pros:

Amazing location, Paddington station is literally less than 5 minutes of a walk. Very good value for the money, the room was cleaned every day of our stay by the lovely staff. A little bit tight but considering its central London, it's the norm and honestly the price, location, staff and cleanliness made up for that. Great food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner on the same street!

A Stay in Paddington
Pros:

The hotel is near to Paddington Underground station.

Cons:

the room given to me was too small. Bidet are not working. Bathroom is so small that you cannot move at all. Lift is not working.

Bra område och nära till stationen.
Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Hissen hade gått sönder så jag fick ett annat rum än det jag bokade längre ner och jag fick hjälp med att få upp väskorna.

Cons:

Det var svårt att komma runt sängen då rummet var litet för ett dubbelrum men jag är ändå tacksam att jag fick ett dubbelrum. De enda jag egentligen har att anmärka på var skicket på badrummet som var extremt litet och kändes som att det höll på att falla sönder. Dunsandet av väskor som drogs uppför trappan utanför lät högt in i rummet och även grannarna bredvid när de kom till rummet på natten då min kudde var ca en meter ifrån dörren.

Pros:

Room was very small but a double room for £100 next to Paddington Station was very good. The lift was broken but it didn't really matter walking up 3 flights of stairs to the 3rd floor. I'd happy stay again. Didn't have time for breakfast so can't comment there.

Very good value for money
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Its biggest advantage is definitely the location, which is excellent and makes it very easy to explore the area and access nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation.

Another highlight was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests.

The hotel itself is rather simple and could benefit from some refurbishment and general maintenance in certain areas. However, considering the price paid, we felt that the overall value for money was very good. The excellent location and the quality of service more than compensated for these minor shortcomings.

We would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to travelers looking for a well-located hotel with a friendly atmosphere and reasonable rates.

Excellent customer service
Pros:

I walked into the Edward Hotel in May 2026 after getting stuck at Paddington late in the evening when all trains to my destination were cancelled. Helga, the receptionist, saved the day by being welcoming, giving me her full attention and finding me a room. I've met few hotel receptionists with her customer service skills. Thanks again!
