Location, 24 hour reception
A little noisy
Charming staff. The room has all that you need with hanging space, kettle and t/c facilities, functional shower / toilet and as I was sharing with a friend - a 3-bed room was a bonus to give us a bit more personal space.
As it happens there was a boiler failure on our second morning so no hot water. Unfortunate but not a disaster in our case. ..................
Good location Short walk straight to Elizabeth Line and amenities.
The room was clean, including the bed and bathroom. It contained two singles and a double, suitable for single or multiple occupancy depending on the setup. It served its purpose for an overnight stay when you just want a place to rest. The reception is located at the side rather than the front of the building, which appears a bit dilapidated.
Locality and friendliness of staff
The man in charge of administration was a real delight to talk to and get to know, and to have that closeness as if he were family. The truth is that for my friend and me, for our first time in that place, he was quite warm and welcoming as a person.
Actually, when we entered the room some of the curtains were torn and for what we had paid we didn't expect a little more, and the bathroom was very small but oh well we managed.
Close to tube station
Only one pillow given each, rooms very small, very small towels. Other guests were loud early hours of the morning.
Great location
A little small but it was excellent value for money
Ok rom, perfekt beliggenhet veldig nært Paddington Station og Hyde park. Gangavstand til Madame Tussaud, Oxford Street og Notting Hill
Teppegulv, kaldt vann i dusjen og ikke mulig å åpne vinduer
Very close to Paddington, very easy to get to and useful to store luggage
Location was good and easy to connect to public transport
It was hard to get on the elevator with all of the luggage due to how slow the elevator is and housekeeping was using the elevator to move the laundry. The lighting was poor and the beds weren't very comfortable. My wife and I left with sore throats from the dry air in the rooms and dust all over the ceilings/vents. The walls were very thin and there was a man yelling in the hallway at 1:00 in the morning. The room was also much smaller than the rooms pictured online and there weren't many amenities or facilities to use.
Location
Safety as they close the door at mid night
Needs a lot of work, having read the reviews we opted to go for a suite so hoping for preserved standards. While every is functional( hot water, heating and good beds) the linens have yellow stains and the carpet are 100 years old so dampness and a sense of uncleanliness won’t leave you but I had not seen anything that I would call unhygienic.
Just lower your expectation for this price you are after a good night sleep after a day or a night in london and you are in the middle of everything
If the hotel get renovated I expect the price to double.
The location of the property was great and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The bedding was clean and bed comfortable.
The hotel needs money spent on it. The walls need painted and the carpets need replaced badly. The bathroom is not designed well as there is nowhere to set toiletries near the sink. The shower area was dirty with limescale. The carpet had an iron mark on it.
Very helpful team. Helped me in the room and with my luggage.
