Broken door broken bathroom door mysterious holes in the walls crappy pillows
Check-in was great! Had a lovely conversation with the young man about international solo travel. Was able to get some hot tea before going up to my room. The room was a bit worn but it was clean. Hot breakfast with eggs and sausage was decent. The hotel served its purpose for me but I would choose another location if passing through Medicine Hat again.
Since the location was right on Highway 1 the traffic noise was quite loud but thank goodness it did not disturb my sleep. The windows could use some updating and modern insulation.
The room was very clean and excellent value for such a big room. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful.

Staff in morning was more interested in his own breakfast than making sure things like milk from coffee was out and not frozen.

Rooms have age to them, some carpeted some wood floors so the carpet is a lil grungy.
