Pros:

Location is great, walking distance to Belmont rollercoaster and Sea world. Quiet neighborhood.

Cons:

Urine stained carpet. Unsanitary appearing bed and chairs for two hundred and fifty per night, idk a bit over priced. Lots of homeless on the area who burn fires at night, the smoke will permiate your room if you keep the door open….

Bahia Reaort Good and Bad
Pros:

Location was great. Green grass, great scenery, surrounded by public and private beaches, just excellent.

Cons:

Room felt damp and musty (first floor). One night, sprinklers were going off and hitting the window/sliding glass door. Felt like all the carpet along the door was was wet, but inside the unit. Could be a serious mold issue.

Reservations Dept is outstanding!
Pros:

I'm a travel agent and I call A LOT of hotels...all day actually. The phone conversation I just had with Liz in reservations made my day! I wish all reservations agents were like Liz! She was so helpful and knowledgable, kind and patient. She helped with a bit of confusion with the website and the booking system. She totally saved the day and came out with a better price than I quoted my clients! So grateful I called and that Liz was the one who took my call!

Great location!
Pros:

Just returned from our stay at Bahia and I wish I was still there! I went with 2 friends we stayed feb 15-feb 20. We stayed in the loft sty le room. It was perfect for us. Nice sitting area and a small balcony where we enjoyed our complimentary Nespresso coffee each morning. The staff is wonderful. They were helpful and friendly every single day. I would definitely recommend using the private airport transportation that you can book through Bahia, it was so easy and efficient. There is a pool that we didn't take advantage of because with staying at Bahia you get access to the Sur Beach House about a 2 minute walk, which we used every day of our stay. The location is perfect it is walking distance to the marina area restaurants and shopping . The restaurants we took an Uber to were only 15 minutes away. Its a wonderful place to stay for a "girls trip" or a stay for couples.

Staff is great, food is good but a little high
Pros:

Rooms were very expensive, while clean were quite outdated. Location is very iffy after dark. Does not feel safe to leave the grounds and walk a few blocks to the main beach area. Playground across the street is great except after dark, very fark area with many homeless

Will not stay here again
Pros:

The hotel has a beautiful, well-maintained territory. There is a large swimming pool and a spacious hot jacuzzi, which is a nice bonus. The beach is good and equipped with sun loungers, making it comfortable to relax by the water.

Cons:

The rooms are very outdated, and the carpet has an unpleasant smell. In our room, the iron was not working, and there was no body wash provided. Also, a microwave is only available upon request, which felt unusual.

Additionally, if your room faces the bay and the wild beach, it can be quite noisy at night. There is a club or bar across the beach with very loud music that continues even after 2 a.m.
