Cons:

Guy at check in desk was rude and argumentive when I told him room was prepaid. No one had said anything about 100 dollar deposit on room. Pool was closed. Only one nightstand. Overall I would rate no higher then a 3 out of ten.

I will tell everyone I know that they are better of staying in their car than wasting money on this hotel

Literally most everything. The $100 deposit is actually ridiculous. I’ve worked in hotels and I know for a fact you keep a card on file for that reason. Taking my money prematurely is CRIMINAL.
I have plenty of pictures of what was not done in our room upon arriving. Coffee pot was so dirty like they just dumped the grounds out and let it dry. There was no coffee left in the room. Wash clothes had yellow stains on them. Black mold in the bathroom, crusty soap on the soap dispenser in the bathroom (on the counter and the dispenser) dust on the headboard, and the ledge of the sink, pool wasn’t open even though it’s beginning of the season, the trash can out side the door of our room was never changed out so we were assaulted with garbage smell every time we opened the door. The mattress needs to be replaced. And the AC UNIT also needs to be looked at. What looked to be blood on the under the cushions on the couch. I have been a housekeeper myself and have run cabin cleaning and laundry for multiple facilities in my area which is a tourist town. I can assure you this is not how any of this should have gone

Bathrooms - didn't look clean and water pressure was not great. Toilet handle needed to be jiggled after every flush or it'd keep running. Smell was not fresh in the entire room.

Good value, good location poor housekeeping

Perfect location for our trip. Easy off 81- close by food and coffee. Good food options for healthy eating.

Cons:

The room was okay but not very clean. My dogs were with me and it was inexpensive to have them! WONDERFUL! My husband stepped in dog poop outside and brought it in- I cleaned it up with rags we had and the floor was disgustingly dirty, black! Yuck! No excuses for that - dog friendly or not. Just swiffer wet! The sink had hair from someone shaving I think- gross! I appreciate the value but clean isn’t expensive! Just clean please!
