Excellent overall experience would recommend staying here to anyone.
Pros:

Hotel staff answered every question and handled every need we had. Location was amazing and views were spectacular.

Cons:

Noise outside of the hotel can be a bit rough to deal with constantly. DJ playing to around 8 p.m. every night.

Exceptional location and views.... with one potential red flag to know before booking
Pros:

Most of what the Sundial has to offer is exceptional. The staff are attentive, conscientious and gracious in their interactions. I love that there is efficiencies in them proactively communicating via text message as well. It's easier than trying to pick up the phone. And their response times were always prompt. Beds were exceptional comfortable and they have an array of (free) options available for your use from GoPro cameras (bring your own SD card), massage guns, streaming services like Disney+, various pillow accommodations based on firmness or allergy sensitivities. It was just an all around well thought out experience. My most favorite feature was its location. Directly next to the Whister Village and Excalibur Gondola chairs, you were mere steps from the ski lifts. Additionally, unlike a nearby hotel, the ski lockers are staffed so you only need to swing by and they will grab your skis for storage or bring them out for you when you start. AND, it's also literally 10 steps from the elevators. Oh so close! You literally don't have to lug skis any distance!

Cons:

What is amazing about the Sundial is also a bit of its Achilles Heel. Whistler, it appears, caters to the "young crowd" with the thump thump thump of loud music with a live DJ. Social Influencers have clearly told the lemmings that fur coats are in because they are out in full force! Bring yours if you want to fit in and go to the Longhorn Saloon which is right below the best (view) rooms in the hotel! The fact that our view room was stocked with ear plugs tells you to beware. While it was not a huge issue for me, just know that at the very least, the view rooms (we were in Room *04 where the * is the floor number). You get the best view but you'll also get all the noise of the late night party crowd. So if you value quiet, don't stay on that side of the hotel. I do not know if the noise carries to the back side rooms or not though. But even after the party ends, you can hear revelers on the street too. Again, it's not an issue... unless it's an issue for you. The views and location trump it all for me.

Great location, loud music kept us up until midnight disturbing our sleep.
Pros:

Close proximity to lift and spacious layout of room, appreciated hot water kettle,

Cons:

There was loud music close to our room both nights that kept us up until midnight both nights we stayed, and we were in the 4th floor. This would deter us from staying here again.

A Whistler Birthday to remember: Spectacular Moments at the Sundial Hotel 💗❄️⛷️🇨🇦
Pros:

We went to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. It was our first time in Whistler and flew in from Miami. As we arrived the lobby doors open and welcome you with the most amazing scent of fresh pine. Our room was on the 4th floor with breath taking valley views. We were greeted with chocolates and a card wishing my daughter a happy birthday. The room was spacious, and impeccably clean. The bed was plush and felt like sinking into a big marshmallow that you sank into after a long day on the slopes. Lobby has delicious hot chocolate with fresh toppings in the afternoons. And finally the private hot tub on the 8th floor is spectacular (make reservations early), and the location can not be beat. Footsteps to the gongolas. If your considering staying at Sundial DO NOT hesitate it’s worth every cent!! Thank you Sundial for making her birthday absolutely perfect! ❤️

Best Hotel in Whistler
Pros:

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Staff was incredible and checked in on us throughout the entire stay. They also made sure we knew of all the amenities and made sure we had an amazing stay. Location also cannot be beat with it being directly behind the BC and Whistler Gondolas. Could not recommend this place enough!

Pete is the homie
Pros:

Pete is extremely helpful and professional! He also looked out for us and let us know when the hot tub was free due to cancellation. This made us have a wonderful memory of being in a private hot tub on Valentine’s day! I cant thank Pete enough!

Right next to the gondolas
Pros:

Had a great 11 night stay at the Sundial. Right between both gondolas and a lift. They offer free valet ski service which was awesome. The staff was great, especially Connor at the front desk. We had a 2 bedroom suite Mountain View and were able to watch the Fire and Ice show from our room on a Sunday evening. There were 3 restaurants in the hotel which was nice when it was raining. The only downside was the noise outside. Thumping music and people dancing and yelling outside at the Longhorn Bar, but hey we wanted to be close to the gondolas. The hotel provides ear plugs to help with this.

Sundial Hotel
Pros:

Location: Great location as it is just steps away from the lifts and the main walking stroll in Whistler. Restaurants are all within walking distance. Rooms: We had a one bedroom suite and it was perfect. Well equipped kitchen with an eating area. Also had a living room area. Cleanliness: Very clean apartment that had everything required for a multi day stay. Noise Level: The one thing to be aware of is that our room overlooked the stroll. Great for a week day stay but it might be noisy on a weekend. But the room comes with ear plugs in the event the noise does become loud.

Excellent stay at Whistler
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at The Sundial hotel in Jan.26
From booking directly with the Sundial team to shipping our Skis ( from Australia) then having to leave early due to health issues, nothing was a bother.
They have a great team Giorgio, Gemma, Rachel, Kris, Pete, Conor, Ned, Peyton and the wonderful housekeepers.

We were in room 507 - it is over the village so can be very noisy at night!
The room itself is well appointed and very comfortable. I cooked up a few meals.
I would definitely stay again
