Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, den wir bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder in Anspruch nehmen.
Pros:

Schönes Ambiente. Ich möchte erwähnen - mehrere 10 Punkte für das freundliche und kompetente Rezeptionsteam, und die außergewöhnlich zuvorkommenden und liebevoll arbeitenden HSK Mitarbeiter/innen.

Cons:

Was uns persönlich gefehlt hat war Tee am Zimmer und ein kleiner Tisch am Balkon, der für die Größe der Suite etwas zu klein gehalten ist.

Ein Klassiker mit Stil und Eleganz - jederzeit wieder
Pros:

Der Klassiker in Hamburg, immer noch. Direkt an der Elbe, Sterne-Restaurant und gegenüber das österr. Restaurant des Kl. Jacob (Vorsicht: Nicht täglich geöffnet, reservieren!). Wer Eleganz und Stil und ein wenig "alte Zeit" mag, der ist hier richtig. Blick auf die Elbe.
Zunächst: Wir haben nichts von Nachbarn über/neben uns gemerkt. Und das ist allein schon ein Privileg. Dazu gemütliche große Betten, schöne geschmackvolle Beleuchtung. Die Zimmer mit raffiniertem Schreibtisch-Modul, Kirschbaum, Marmorbad, beleuchteter Kleiderschrank, gemütlicher Sessel. Wer Industrie-Schick will, ist hier verkehrt; der elegante, aber auch gemütliche Stil zieht sich durchs ganze Haus, auch den Neubau, auch bei den kleineren Standardzimmern. Bademantel und sehr schöne Schlappen, weiche dicke Handtücher, kostenfreie Minibar (Saft, Wasser), hochwertige Lotion, Nespresso-Kapseln (leider kein Tee, s.u.).
Außergewöhnlich ist das Frühstück: ein kleines, feines Buffet mit gutem Brot etc., dazu eine Bestellkarte, bei der selbst Klassiker wie Rührei außergewöhnlich aufgemacht und auch etwas anders zubereitet daherkommen. Ganz großartig: Das Landbrot mit Avocado und der Lachs! Dazu ein Frühstücksteam, das Service, Gastorientiertheit, aber ohne Servilität lebt - ein kleinen Moment Geduld und Lächeln, dann sind die Damen trotz Hanse (bzw. Berlin) voller Freundlichkeit und Entgegenkommen. Und dazu der Blick durch die Linden, über die Terrasse auf die Elbe und herüber zu Airbus (okay, das ist Industrieausblick, aber das sind die großen Pötte auch - das ist schon toll).
Sauna ist eine große moderne Sauna mit gut 10 Liegen und Teebereich, hier ist noch Luft nach oben, vor allem beim Fitness. Anreise auch mit ÖPNV: Bus 112 direkt vor der Tür, ca. 25 Minuten bis Altona, ca. 35 Minuten bis Hafen bzw. 45 Minuten bis Hauptbahnhof - eine Fahrt, die schon gleich Sightseeing ist.
Viel Personal, ein feiner Sekt zur Begrüßung, Zimmer wird - aufmerksam - gemacht, während des Frühstücks! Das passt!

Cons:

Es gibt ein paar Dinge, die einem 5**** nicht ganz entsprechen. Dazu gehört, dass es kein Teezubehör gibt und die Kaffee-Kapseln und Lotion nicht nachgefüllt werden. Fitness ist klein, eng und nicht angemessen. Sauna sollte länger bzw. jedenfalls auf Wunsch länger geöffnet sein (21 Uhr). Als Anregung: Jogging- und Spazierstrecke ausweisen;Informationen auf dem Zimmer sind nur dürftig, etwa zu Restaurants in der Nachbarschaft etc. Die Buchungs-/Infoseite des Hotels ist unübersichtlich.

Das Frühstück war,wie immer, execellent...allerdings war es vor der Übernahme durch die Marriott Gruppe NOCH besser!

Min mand og jeg følte os meget godt tilpas p.gr.a. ovennævnte og juleudsmykningen ude og inde var storslået.
Pros:

Hotellet er meget behageligt, roligt. De store værelser med en gennemført indretning. Smukt helt igennem.

Hotel très bien situé

Cons:

Lors de mon arrivée le chauffage était beaucoup trop fort et mon sommeil a été très mauvais. Le vendredi la température était trop haute et j'ai du aller dormir chez une amie, le vendredi n'ayant pas de possibilité de dormir autre part je suis resté dans la chambre avec les fenêtres ouverte. Dommage pour un si belle établissement.
Pourtant a proximité de tout pour avoir un confort lors d'un séjour a Hambourg.
