This is the 4th itime I have stayed here. My daughter goes to Plymouth State University and it is 5 minutes down the road. I have stayed at other hotels in the area but they do not add up to this place! The rooms are immaculate, housekeeping staff does a great job. Breakfast is good and the breakfast attendent is very personable. All the staff are very nice. On this last trip I had left a pair of earrings in my room. I called maybe 45 minutes after I checked out , the gentleman at the front desk went to look but did not see them. About 20 minutes later the same front desk person called me and said he had gone back in the room to search again and had found them. I had knocked them off the table and he found them on the floor. He did not have to do that but he did it anyway, that was so very kind. Great staff, rooms that are super clean, I will continue to stay here each time I come to PSU!
This hotel has a great location for Indy Pass - 30ish minutes from 4 mountains. We returned this year after staying last year as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is top notch. My daughter talked about the endless bacon all year - she calls it the bacon hotel. The hotel is not fancy but is clean and the rooms are a good size. Big pool for the kids and a sauna. We had a family emergency during our stay and the management was very accommodating and helpful.
Group booked several rooms for a wedding. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean and loved that when we entered the room it was warm. We had to shower and change quickly so the warm clean room made me very happy.
I would like to start by saying that the hotel is always well maintained with a friendly and welcoming staff. My wife and I have stayed here many times over the past few years because of the closeness to Plymouth State.
This weekend though we stayed and had an unsettling experience. I booked through the app and paid for my weekend stay with a portion of a gift card. When we checked in I used the balance to pay the pet fee for my dog and the whole amount of the remaining balance was used even though there should have been funds remaining. When my wife woke up Saturday morning she looked at our bank account and saw that a hold was put on our bank card for the amount of our stay including the pet fee. I brought this to the attention of the staff and was informed that this was normal even when paying with a Best Western gift card. I always thought that a gift card issued by an establishment that was already paid for was as good as a credit card or cash but I guess just not here.
When we checked out at 10 am this morning the staff said everything is all set and the receipt would be emailed to me. At 8 pm tonight I still had not received an email receipt and I had to contact the hotel for it. Upon receiving the receipt I noticed a miscellaneous charge for the exact amount of what should have been returned as a refund to my gift card balance. After bringing this to their attention to whoever answered I was informed that they made a mistake and that it would be resolved with a new gift card for the amount mailed to me.
The hotel staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The location was easy to find and in a great area for vacationing. The hotel was spacious and inviting.
Clean room, everything in a good condition.
The only drawbacks were some chemical smell in the room and common areas and the fact that hotel is in distance from White mountains attractions and dining options.
Second time staying this year. Always pleasant staff and clean rooms. Breakfast is good with ample choices. Bonus that coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are always available in the lobby. Location is great. Will stay again.
Room was clean but shower was cold. Many rooms have windows overlooking the indoor pool which has a loud echoing effect for any talking or playing in the pool.
Quiet and comfortable. easy to get to/from. Front office staff and maintenance were both awesome.
We had a great room at the best Western White Mountain Inn. It has recently been renovated and was quite nice from the lobby to our room. We had two comfortable queen size beds with great pillows and decent linen. The room and bathroom were all spotless! There was a new TV that was huge on the wall that got quite a few channels. The free breakfast that they offer was good. You had the choice of pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, and assorted cereal and fruit. I would recommend anyone staying there at least on the first floor. There’s no elevator in the hotel. You should be aware of that.
No elevator ro second floor, very poor breakfast selection, price high, location very good, souna door needs repairing, reception not always easy to reach
Nice room, great location
The bed was comfortable,, but my husband had to clean the bathtub before he would get in it. The water pressure in the shower was very weak She was good.. the TV was good and offered every channel you could want. The smell in the room when we first walked in almost knocked us over. It seemed to be in the ventilation system to hide the musty smell of the rug and it was extremely strong. Breakfast was included, and offered scrambled eggs, home fries and sausage patties. There was also a pancake machine, toaster with several types of bread, yogurt, cereals and all the fixings. Nothing great but it fit our needs.
Everything was great
Property was easy to get to and price was good for a double room.
The room didn't look like it did on Expedia, no kitchenette area. Our room was clean, however smelled of old stale cigarettes and mold. Had a headache and sinus pressure the next day.
Quiet location. Large clean room. Convenient to the interstate. Lots of parking. Helpful staff was noteworthy.
Steep learning curve for TV remote. Breakfast was adequate for do it yourself. Not a lot of dining options in the immediate area.
Hotel was okay, but very expensive for the dates I had.
Nice stay
We stay here every year when we attend the Highland Games. Great place in driving distance with an incredible restaurant right across the street. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent and the 24-hour coffee is a nice touch.
