In spite of the toilet, I’d stay again! The staff was amazing!
Pros:

The property was located in a great spot! The beds were extremely comfortable!

Cons:

The toilet was not cleaned and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I used a disinfectant wipe and cleaned it and the stains came off.

Pros:

On way to New Orleans for cruise stayed here. Nidasha Baker, front desk staff, was great. We were a group of 96 so it was hectic but she did not lose her patience. Rooms need to be refreshed, chair in our room was dirty and worn. Otherwise clean and most acceptable. Hotel had set up room for us to have dinner catered which meant extra work for Nidasha but she went about it with a good attitude. Also, had room with King Cake and Madi gras decorations.

Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful , friendly and competent. Plenty of healthy options for breakfast, great coffee, and pleasant environment. I like all the green area for walking our dogs too. I really like this hotel and happy to stay here on future visits to the area.

Cons:

luggage trolleys: some had bad wheels, very difficult to move.
carpet in lobby area is in poor condition.

Really nice people
Pros:

The room was clean. The water pressure was good in the shower.
There was the nicest welcome gift (it was the day after Christmas) waiting inside the room for us. A little stocking with my name painted on it that was filled with goodies. Everyone was pleasant; someone at the front desk even found safety pins to help with a Dress Emergency.

Cons:

The mattress was completely worn out. It tilted to one side, sagged, and I could feel the springs. It is not what I expect from a Hampton Inn. I did not sleep at all.
Also, towels were a precious commodity. There was one per person in the bathroom, and when we asked for more, we were told we would have to wait until people checked out and those towels were washed. They didn't have extras, and we were told they aren't allowed to give more than 2 towels.
Eventually we did get towels but I received no response about the mattress issue.
