Wonderful experience!
Pros:

Loved the proximity of this hotel to everything! Downtown shops and restaurants, the Olympic venues, and Mirror Lake are all within easy walking distance. Loved the rooftop bar. Our room was spacious, clean, very comfortable, and had beautiful views of downtown and Mirror Lake with a fabulous High Peaks backdrop.

Cons:

Room darkening shades aren’t 100% room darkening (for those of you who really need that, as I do,) but they were still pretty dark. I slept ok.
Otherwise, very comfortable!

Great location.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Right in the heart of Lake Placid. Easy walking distance to all the Olympic venues

Cons:

The elevator was out of order. We had to use the service elevator. Every time we got on, you didn’t know where it was going. The shower only had men’s body wash. Not great for women. Plus our room was made up in the morning. We had to ask for towels for the next day. Only off street park was a valet service.

Rooms were very good, well maintained.

Cons:

Lack of transparency in charges. When booking, it was understood that breakfast was part of the deal. However, front desk staff denied this. There was only one functioning elevator and it was very slow.

We enjoyed our time in Lake Placid largely due to the central and convenient location of this comfortable hotel.
Pros:

Great Location, comfortable room, friendly and effective staff. Rooms were well maintained.

Cons:

Main elevator was out of service so secondary elevator was used by everyone who disuse stairs.

A perfect base of operations to enjoy Lake Placid, the surrounding activities, and the ADK region.
Pros:

From the main door is a 5 minute walk to the Olympic Center and every restaurant, boat rental, or store in town. The lobby and great room are a fun place to chill and relax, rooms are spacious, comfy and quiet. First floor restaurant has great breakfast. Staff is attentive, readily available, and they keep the place tidy. Wil definitely book this again.

Would have been great except for the barking dog and how it was handled.
Cons:

Barking dogs!!!! Why do we have to put up with other peoples barking dogs??? Also one of the front desk clerks was very rude after we tried to call and nobody would pick up I walked down to the desk to tell them about the dog and he snapped at me?!?!!’ Ruined a nice stay!

Heel comfortabele kamer en het hotel is zeer schoon. Alle faciliteiten zijn prima en de locatie is top.

Cons:

Personeel is wat ongeïnteresseerd en de valet parking kost telkens een paar dollar fooi. Op zich niet erg, maar 5 meter naar m’n auto lopen vind ik prettiger..
