Loved staying here! It’s close to downtown so you can walk to everything. Or not even have to leave because they have two delicious restaurants and bar right in the hotel.
We stayed at The Queensbury Hotel for our daughter's wedding near by. It was perfect! The hotel was clean and decorated very nicely, Christmas time. The rooms were wonderful, they were updated but haven't lost the charm of being in an older hotel. The restaurants were great for food and to hang with other wedding guests. It is also so centrally located that you could walk almost any where you wanted to go.
The venue was great and morning coffee in the upstairs lobby was wonderful!
The view from our room—over a troop with HVAC units!
Good location. Comfortable room. Great having free parking
already expressed in previous questions. A most positive experience. I would recommend the Queensbury Hotel to everyone.
Loved everything about this property - will return here again. Great location - walkable to wonderful restaurants, shops and the Civic Center/Arena. 24-hr front desk. Bar/pub lengthy hours. You can tell its an old building with a lot of historic style, but is nicely updated as well.
A small city like Glens Falls has a gem of a hotel right in the heart of it. You walk in and immediately feel the grandeur, but also the small city charm. You feel this the most if you visit during the holidays, as the lobby is all decked out with a huge Christmas tree, a life-sized gingerbread house, the Grinch on a bicycle, nutcrackers and lights, and so much more. Several nights a week, a pianist plays the grand piano in the lobby. Be sure to grab a drink from Fenimore's and sit in the lobby to enjoy his beautiful music.
The restaurants also reflect the small city vibe, with windows on the City Park, great for watching life go by. The food is very good, but not pretentious. If you dine in the summer, you can sit on the patio. For a unique experience, dine in the winter and eat in one of the heated plastic igloos, where you will have your own private dining experience.
The guest rooms are modern, sophisticated, and welcoming, with very comfortable beds and upscale bathrooms.
The staff goes out of their way to make the experience as wonderful as possible.
A visit to the Queensbury Hotel is a must, whether you are visiting Glens Falls from afar, attending an event in Glens Falls and want a nice dinner, or just want to pamper yourself for a few hours in your hometown. Make an experience out of it. You will be so glad you did!
Decorated for the holidays made this a pleasant stay, complete with lobby pianist in the evening and fire in fireplace. Very nice one night stay.
I heard they had a renovation, and it was a nice property. It was nicer than I expected, clean, COMFORTABLE and professional throughout. The whole thing was cozy. The Christmas decor made my heart happy. The lobby, bar and rooms were great. Fitness centre was clean and brightly lit. Love the property. Would do a cozy winter weekend there with the fam or friends.
I've been coming to the Queensbury since the 90's. They've done a lot of work with the place and it's holding up very nicely. Location is perfect for my needs (arena and my favorite food places) and staff was very helpful.
Elegant, comfortable and affordable. I did enjoy my weekend spent at Queensbury Hotel! It also is close to the Lake George area, which is quite nice.
Our Breakfast waiter could use a refresher course on etiquette on serving, I asked him to repeat our order, since he was using his memory, and he messed up twice repeating it, then delivered our order incorrectly. Being a severe diabetic this was critical on my end.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel due to the convenience in distance from shopping, the Adirondack thunder game and with the bonus of having breakfast available on site.
My family and I stayed here on our way to Vermont, and we loved this hotel so much we changed our return trip route, and drove several hours out of our way, to come back for an additional night on the way home. Wonderful hotel experience!
The Queensbury Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel that has been lovingly restored and is beautifully decorated for the season. Wow !!! Just amazing ! The staff is helpful and pleasant. We had lunch in one of the igloos and recommend that !
