Excellent all around.
Pros:

Everything was pretty and clean and people were nice and the breakfast was great. The room was really quiet and the beds were awesome! It was also affordable.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed at
Pros:

This is the worst hotel I've stayed in, bar none. The rooms were fine but the service and staff was SO bad that it was impossible to enjoy. Someone came into our room BEFORE checkout time, WITHOUT knocking, and didn't even apologize.

Cons:

Checkin was supposed to be at 4pm, which is already incredibly late in my opinion. But they didn't let us into the room until 5:10, with no apology, no reason, and no compensation. On the morning of checkout, someone tried to come in to our room before check out time at 10AM, without knocking, and didn't apologize. They just said "oh, you're still here?" and slammed the door.

Good for its price
Pros:

Very homey and comfortable place, I loved the color scheme and the decorations... The staff was very friendly and parking was free on the property. The town is tiny so this place being right outside the city center (aka one single street with several blocks) in the residential area is appreciated. Breakfast is just ok. I would stay again.

Cons:

Shower head was not the mobile kind but that's no big deal.

Really great hotel for the price and it's pet friendly!
Pros:

Loved the Location, size of the room and especially that it was dog friendly. It is near to downtown and there are plenty of places to walk the dog and stretch.

Cons:

I'm giving this place a very high rating in spite of the fact that it has the world's worst shower. I mean REALLY bad! The bathroom in general is a terrible design without water pressure. Also, the breakfast wasn't great but there are tons of breakfast restaurants nearby if that is important to you.

Overall a good value but could be nicer

Cant beat the location

Cons:

Seems a little dowdy. Wallpaper! Carpet from one era and drapes from another. Lamp had a short. Tv in cabinet - doors don’t stay open. Piles of leaves in walkway. Anyone paying attention?

There was a slight old smell in the room. Unfortunately, the breakfast didn’t offer vegetarian options apart from potatoes, which were a bit undercooked, so I couldn’t eat them. In the end, my breakfast was just tea with jam 🙂

It was perfect for our needs.
Pros:

I love the interior decor. The room was big, bed was comfortable, nice to have a big couch and coffee table in front of the TV. Breakfast had good selections. Wonderful common sitting area in the lobby. Location is close to everything. We will stay here again!

Cons:

No pool. But that’s okay in winter or if you don’t swim.
