Courtyard by Marriott Norfolk Downtown

Just arrived and everyone from the valet to check in have been top notch!!!! Will definitely be back anytime we come to Norfolk!!

Jermaine greeted us with an attentive smile, explained how the valet parking worked and helped unload our luggage onto a cart. We accepted his offer and paid the fee at the check in. Jermaine was right there with us to obtain our room number.

I was on the valet area smoking later on and witnessed the same interaction with other hotel guests. Both Jermaine and Nadia made each person feel like they were their most important customer all day.

Hotel has great location. Parking for cruise was perfect Jermaine was awesome valet attendant! Jermaine was friendly and attentive!

The gentleman at the valet were exceptional. When we drove up (1/17/26) Mr. Mark Jones took his time and excellent care of our bags and car. Ms. Logan checked us in and gave us very helpful information regarding the best way to get to our cruise ship. Upon our departure Mr. Jermaine Walker with the Valet service was kind and considerate as well. Edilen at the front desk was kind an helpful with our checkout and credited our breakfast as it was complimentary with the resevation. Also when we came down for breakfast around 830am on Sunday 1/18/26 there we 3 staff members at the desk (Edilen was not there), none of them spoke or asked if we needed anything. When ordering breakfast at the in-house Starbucks location, the first 3 menu items we selected we not available. It was very disappointing not to mention again that we were charged for the complimentary breakfast. This was very disappointing. The valets, Mark and Jermaine along with the front desk agent Logan and Ediline made our stay better.

Valet service on Thursday evening was excellent. Mark Jomes was very helpful in noting the i formation about my friend car keys since you have to use two different keys. Kudos!!!

We came in town for business the hotel was clean and comfortable. The valet Mark Jones was very helpful . The staff was friendly. We will come back again.
