The beds and the bedding were very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the check in process was effortless which is important when you are checking in late at night.
Please provide better quality soaps and shampoos.
The area it was in was very nice
The staff was lazy. The air in my room didn’t work. For the price I paid the shower was terrible. And plus my key car wouldn’t let me back in my room. And I had to wait 6 hours for someone to let me back in with the master key. Which the maintance man hand to do. Just over all the worst experience I’ve ever had .

No complaints
The property was a good fit since the conference I attended was located on one of the floors. The room itself was quite nice with a separate sitting room, sink, microwave, and refrigerator. While the main part had two beds, a nice TV, a nice desk and the bathroom, which was a decent size for one person. All the necessary lotions were provided for including shampoo and conditioner. 
The only thing I can say is, I was a little worried about the vents, pushing out the air up near the ceiling, which is the popcorn ceiling, is full of dust and dirt from the air being pushed through the ducts. So little concerned, whether or not the ducts have been cleaned on a regular basis. I noticed that I was sneezing a lot.
The air did not work in the room. It was horrible. Hair was on my sheets order food from the restaurant and it took an hour for it to be done. I talked to one of the housekeepers she had an attitude.

So run down and out dated. The door lock mechanism was loose. I thought I had it closed but someone walked right in. They have the fire alarm off. Exposed wires showing. The shower curtain was ripped leaving 1/3 not covered. Water all on the floor. Dry food all over the wall in front of kitchenette sink. Nasty

I liked the gym, and 2 room suite with kitchen. I didn’t like that there are no fans in the rooms and the carpet needs replacing throughout the property. The gym was too hot , again no thermostat, or fans. My room only cooled to an about 72 degrees.
Nice hotel
The room was very dated and needed attention. The drapes had holes all in them, bathroom door at the bottom was shabbily cut and all uneven like a child altered it; shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel was not attached to the wall in the shower. Not convenient at all to use. Bathroom had only two towels and washcloths with no hair dryer. Inquired with front desk attendant that night of arrival and he said he would locate me one. Never heard back from him and did complain at checkout about lack of hair dryer. I was told oh its back here. Attendant never bothered to call or have someone bring it to our room. Paid extra for breakfast via expedia
App. No one greeted us; tables were sticky; would have liked to have had access to some ice water! We booked with Holiday Inn as we have never had a bad experience at one; however this one definitely needs attention!
Wonderful room layout. Perfect for business or for families. Excellent food!
A few things need to be fixed in the room we were in. The A/C did not operate properly. It was not cold or cool at all. The toilet barely flushed. The room we were in seemed a little outdated. They really should offer free breakfast as well.
Right beside the Univ. of Memphis.
The Holiday Inn at University of Memphis is the perfect location for all the great things Memphis has to offer! It’s an easy drive to downtown, the Edge district, and activities in east Memphis like the Botanic Garden. There are lots of great food options like RP Tracks and Brother Juniper’s an easy walk across campus. Or hop onto Poplar or Central and be at some of the best restaurants in Memphis in under 10 minutes.
Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Even though the rooms are a bit run down (our shower curtain was torn in a couple places,) it’s a great place to stay for the price. Safe and very convenient.
