Overall good but the two bar staff not up to scratch.
Pros:

Location. Room service .

Cons:

Very poor bar service.
On three occasions I ordered two drinks that never arrived. I had to go to the bar each time to remind the staff.

Great location, always comfortable and really lovely hospitality from the staff.

No allocated parking, not a big deal as they had street parking which was untimed until 9am.

Pros:

War ein sehr kleines Zimmer, es kommt allein reisende ältere Dame, da braucht man sich noch nicht bemühen! Manche allein reisende Damen könnten leichtfüßig das ganze Hotel kaufen, warum bietet man kein Upgrade an??? Das Zimmer war Eisekalt ! Es wurde am letzten Abend ein Heizofen reingestellt! Ansonsten konnte man alles nur mit Tablett regeln! Waren selten lebendige Menschen an Rezeption zu sehen! Lage war nicht zentral ! Ich würde es nicht wieder buchen auch wenn man kleines Dessert zur Wiedergutmachung ins Zimmer gestellt hat.

Very expensive for the size of room and inconvenience of stairs etc

Nice restaurant, close enough to the Octagon to easily walk.

Cons:

Very small rooms, different shapes and size rooms for members of our group staying. One friend had a room with no windows!!! Overpriced. Many stairs had to haul suitcases up and down as lift only went to certain areas due to very old building

Cute boutique hotel
Pros:

Tidy little boutique hotel. Old style lift only goes to level 5 stairs the rest of the way. comfy beds, nice bathrooms. Small rooms but ok for a one night stay.

Cons:

Noisey location can hear everything from bed. Light in the cupboard did not switch off. Some rooms much smaller than others but ok for one night. If on floors above level 5 suitcases has to be carried up stairs.

Luxury in Dunedin
Pros:

Location was great, walking distance from the center of town. Very upscale hotel. Breakfast was not included...great bakery and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We purchased 2 King Superior Rooms . The rooms were allocated were more aligned to the Queen Classic with a king size bed in them . The bathroom was just as in the pictures of the Queen classic with one sink in it and a shower just 600mm . Our booking with booking .com said the room would be 23 m2 , I measured it and it was just below 20m2 , the classic size. When I approached the staff member on the front desk he said it was a King superior because of the bed size and the desk . The room sizes were in ranges and ours fell into the King superior range. The photographs of the rooms is very miss leading . I would suggest the rooms should have another category of King Classic .

The road outside was being dug up over night and we were not pre warned of this prior to our stay.

Location was perfect for us. We walked to all the places we wanted to see …train, Clearwater tour, blue penquin tour, shopping and other restaurants

Pros:

Gute, zentrale Lage mit kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten in den Abendstunden bis morgens in der Nähe des Hotels und ein gutes Restaurant direkt im Haus, was bei schlechtem Wetter ein echter Vorteil war!
