A stylish hotel for those looking for something different.
Pros:

We loved the older style building. The presentation of the interior was impressive.

Cons:

We didn’t like having to carry our suitcases up and down stairs. On a number of occasions we saw staff outside the hotel having a cigarette. This reflected poorly on the overall presentation of the hotel. Staff in the Press Club seemed poorly trained and were frequently seen chatting amongst themselves rather than attending to customers.

Wonderful boutique hotel stay at a great price; media options in the room is the improvement possible.
Pros:

Close to central Dunedin, great vibe and facilities. Food at the Press Club attached was excellent, staff friendly and helpful

Cons:

Google cast as the only media option was second rate and performed poorly. Dragged down what would have been 10/10 rating.

Looking forward to staying again
Pros:

I stayed here with my daughter on her return to university - she decided to stay with me at the last minute rather than her flat and the hotel was really kind changing our room to a twin room. We were greeted warmly and offered a beautiful cool drink on check in. The staff could not have been more helpful during our stay. The room was beautiful with comfy beds, a coffee machine etc. Looking forward to returning for Graduation.

Comfortable bed
Pros:

Bed was fantastic ... extremely comfortable. Loved that the accommodation was close to organic shop and good cafes.

Cons:

I joked with my partner that thank goodness we didnt bring our cat... the room was so small couldn't have swung a cat in it.

Pros:

It was our first time in Dunedin and the hotel was perfectly located for us to navigate the city and surrounds. We had a car so used the valet parking which was really helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds super comfy. Loved it!
