The room had a musty odor. Our room was not cleaned on Saturday. We had to take out our trash on Saturday. We had to go to the front desk for fresh towels. The towels were very thin. The bath towels looked like pool towels.
It was clean and convenient to where my daughter lives now.
Could use some new workout equipment, the treadmill belt was torn and the peloton bike’s screen was not connected properly to the platform.
Hotel needs renovation room was musty and cold and damp. Not a very good experience
Complete renovation of this unit is required
We stayed one night at this Hampton on the way back from N.C. The desk clerk was very nice and greeted us when we checked in, recognized us as Hilton Honors members and told us about the nightly snacks as well as breakfast times. She said we must of traveled far because we looked tired and wished us a good night. Very pleasant young lady and represented the Hilton Brand very well, unfortunately didn’t get her name. Room was nice and large, showed some wear but the bed was comfortable and that’s all I was concerned about. Bathroom wall paper was in bad condition and peeling off but the bathroom was clean and the shower was nice. We did go downstairs and took some pretty good chicken wings back to the room as a dinner/snack. In the morning when we checked out the same clerk was there, she just came on shift, and again she was very nice and asked us if we had a good stay. All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this Hampton Inn again!
So disappointing for the HiltonBrand. Hilton Honors member for 30 years. This Hampton in falls extremely short of a quality hotel. The lobby has been remodeled and very clean. Upon arrival of asking for an available room, the desk clerk was not the most pleasant. She was not nasty, but a smile and a good afternoon how may I help would have been nice other than just a look and waiting for us to speak. We were given the price of the room which did not match the website. I showed her the price and she lowered her offer. Now here is the big thing. She couldn't give us a room key, we would need to be escorted and let into the room. The key card machine was not working. Seriously? She said she should have one later for us. It was mid to late afternoon and we had been driving a long time this day so we decided to go find a spot to get a bite to eat and will go to our room after. A couple hours later we went back, luggage in hand and she escorted to our room ( no smile, nose in phone in the elevator and hallways). I did ask if we would be receiving a room key, she said yes shortly. Upon entering the room we were shocked to see how dated the room was. Had to be from the 1980's and furniture very worn. Bed had new linens and mattress so this was good. Walls were scuffed, wallpaper peeling in some spots. Bathroom tub drip drip drip, mold around facet and on tile grout, old cigarette burns on bath counter. Door to hallway....there was a 1/4 inch gap. You could defiantly see light in hallway. I could have slipped 2 credits cards stacked thru the gap. At least Door locked so we felt somewhat ok. We just could not believe it. We talked of going elsewhere but the bed was clean and we were tired.
Upon waking we talked and said well I guess we don't get a room key, they never showed up or called to state we could come to desk to pick up. We packed quickly without showering and wanted to just get out of there. When we checked out, same girl.....we asked still no keys to room? She just shrugged her shoulders. In all my 30+ years traveling for work and staying at Hilton hotels 150 + nights a year this has been a first. NO ROOM KEYS.
During our travels we stayed at three Hampton Inns and one Home2Suites. This was also the most expensive of the 4. The others were Hilton Brand up to par.
So if you are passing thru the area in Perry, GA, I would go an exit north or south before I would stay at Hampton Perry again.
Our room was clean and spacious, it included everything you might need including a desk, comfy chair and a sink. There were also lots of surfaces to put things on. Good choice of hot and cold items at breakfast. A better than average stay and worth the price.
We had a few minor maintenance issues but none that ruined our stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The front desk people were very accommodation and nice. We would definitely recommend this place.
Older Hampton, needs some refreshing; bathroom sink stopped up; tried to get front desk; returned a text when asked if we needed anything but no response. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices.
Close to the highway for a pit stop. Breakfast was good.
For a change, no upfront 'incidental charges' were requested, which is becoming a norm with Hilton, and quite annoying.
Location. I was driving from Florida towards Atlanta, and for whatever reason, it showed all other Hampton Inns on the way to be full - I very much doubt that, as when we passed them, there were not many cars. We drove an extra 100 miles on a long day.
Smells moldy. Carpet is wet. Old building with old box air conditioning that keeps growling. Shower rod botched repair. Clock an hour behind. More like remodeled comfort inn. Not Hampton Inn quality but Hampton Inn cost. Even got billed for WiFi.
Nice, everyone super friendly!
Front desk clerk pleasant! Clean room.

I’m sure it was a nice hotel years ago but it’s very tired and worn out. Next door is a rent by week motel. We had adjoining rooms and 2 schnauzers. Front desk at check in was helpful. The morning clerk was clearly wishing she was somewhere else. Barely a smile while she was yawning. Hotel needs renovating desperately
This Hampton has been allowed to fall well below the brand standard you would expect from the chain. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and support the brand with over 100 stays each year - this is the first time I have ever checked out early due to lack of cleanliness. Every aspect of this property is worn and dirty. Stay elsewhere.
