Pros:

Location to Morehead State University and Poppy Mountain Music Festival were good. Staff is always friendly.

Cons:

Shower curtain was hung backwards and water got all over the floor because our son didn't realize it. Shower and bathroom could use more cleaning attention. Maybe try Wet and Forget Shower Cleaner to get the scum off the shower fixtures and grout areas.

Absolutely Wonderful Customer Service!
Pros:

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had been camping when our CO detector started going off in the middle of the night. We were exhausted, stressed, and desperately trying to find a place at the last minute that could accommodate both us and our dogs.

Not only did the staff find us a room, but when we arrived, they greeted my fur babies at the door with treats! That little extra touch meant so much after the night we had been having. That is what great customer service looks like.

I really wish I had gotten the name of the wonderful lady who helped us. It was late, and I was so stressed and exhausted that I completely forgot to ask. By the time we finally got settled and I came back out, she had left for the night.

She was an absolute gem—kind, compassionate, helpful, and exactly the person you want greeting guests when they are having a rough night. She is truly an asset to your company. Please pass along our sincere thanks to her. She turned a very stressful situation into a much better experience, and we are extremely grateful!

Great Stay
Pros:

This was my 4th time staying here. This is an very good small hotel. The entire place was very clean. The furniture in the my room looked quite new as well as the flooring. There was no noise and the location was right off the interstate. Jill at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. I plan to stay here the next time I visit the area.

I would look elsewhere - room had a terrible odor.

Cons:

Online reviews led me astray. As soon as I opened the door to my room I was hit with a strong urine smell that would not leave - even after turning a/c on.
