I liked that it was so close to everything and the staff was so polite and accommodating

I had the Worst Experience at the Hotel 😞. My key's never worked had to go up and down on the Elevator which only one working. They have Teenagers working the Desk and don't activate the Keys. So I would like a Refund for my Stay and I would like to talk to Corporate Office. The Young Girl on Shift was Very Rude and went in the Office. When I came from outside I just asked her to let me in my room cause I was Checking out in the morning.

I’ve stated this facility had an offer for the last 10 years. This is not just declined due to age -management/staff. ……. We had a four night stay and only one night did they actually clean the room make the bed refresh the towels ! Told the front desk first time it happened - specifically asked to make sure that room get cleaned. It was not! so the second time I went down again asking please Make sure that the room gets cleaned!. It wasn’t clean the night before and we need new sheets because they don’t stay on the bed. they told me they took a note and would be done—NOT CLEANED AGAIN!!! we were short on towels. The sheets weren’t put on the bed properly or didn’t fit. ……The Shower was in such a bad state that there were globs /blobs of plaster put on the Shower Door corner to prevent leaks. The grout along the edge of the shower was huge & put on so sloppily that it went up the wall !. My husband was so worried about using the shower that he didn’t use it !!—so we were using a lot of towel towels. Which weren’t picked up because the room wasn’t cleaned….The bathroom lighting was so dark I couldn’t understand why it was more lighting so I tried to fix the lighting around the mirrors around to no effect. This was night one they did fix that the next day but really a customer has to check out the room and make sure the lighting works at the sheets fit.⁉️⁉️…. The pool… Thought that my grandchildren would enjoy an hour in the pool… too cloudy and murky to use safely. … asked to speak to a manager to address. These issues told me it would be there tomorrow. Checked out at 9 AM has to speak to the manager.’ he’s not in yet this morning.’ disgusted, disappointed will never return.!

Room was very basic and paint was peeling from the bathroom wall. There was hair in my bed and you can tell the sheets weren’t changed. The room service was HORRIBLE they never came to clean my room! Trash was piling up and all our wet towels remained on the floor in the corner. They don’t change sheets unless you ask according to the front desk. The man at the front desk was very dismissive when I tried to explain my situation regarding room service and what we needed. He brought towels and said they’ll take care of it in the am once we leave. People were allowed to walk around barefoot in the breakfast area and brought dogs with them ( non service animals) definitely not appealing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay here in Chicago.
