Bathroom doors didn’t close because they didn’t fit, door handle poorly repaired fell off, broken toilet seat, moisture everywhere got sll our clothes damp. Pool was cloudy. The place needs a good scrub

Ruhige Lage
Pros:

Die Lage hat uns gut gefallen. Etwas abseits und daher war es auch schön ruhig. Aussicht vom Zimmer direkt auf den Savannah River. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel.

Cons:

Die Parkplätze kosteten zusätzlich, was wir sehr schade fanden. Es gab so viele und das Zimmer kostete bereits genug.

Obviously the room had not been properly cleaned before we arrived, because the last guest had forgot her used underwear in the bathroom. I asked the receptionist to get it removed, but nothing happened.
Disgusting! Totally unacceptable 😡

We do a lot of traveling and stays but this one was up amd beyond customer service by Lisa at check in and then really all the staff at the breakfast bar and check out in the morning. The entire stay was easy and peaceful.

Cons:

There is street traffic noise you'll have to get used to but it isn't the fault of the staff. It's one of those trades staying a hotel so close to river street.

We enjoyed our stay so much, we hope to visit the hotel again, so we can explore more of the city.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Savannah's historic district. It was in walking distance to the River Walk area where we had dinner. Then we took a swim in the pool. The water temperature was perfect! The next day, after breakfast, we walked to the Telfair Academy Art Museum to see the statue of the Bird Girl.

Cons:

The hotel is in the heart of the city, so occasionally there was a little street noise, but for the most part, it was rare.
