Pros:

I could sleep in

Cons:

Dirty windows, the hallway to our room were covered in tape, and the key didn't open the outside doors so I had to walk to the front door each time.

Avoid
Pros:

The location and the price

Cons:

The property is extremely outdated and not clean at all. I’m pretty positive I got lice from our stay there and the floors were so dirty in the room my feet were black.

Will not stay again
Pros:

Close to where I needed to be

Cons:

Other guest were arguing, cops were called, I was nervous about the other guest, no tub stopper in tub, breakfast was late and just a continental style but it said there is a charge of $7. Room was dirty

Good experience.
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Red Lion Hotel Boise Downtowner and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent — close to downtown restaurants, the river, and easy freeway access, which made getting around Boise simple and stress-free.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet at night, so I slept really well. The bed and pillows were especially cozy, and the temperature control worked great (always a big deal when traveling!). The staff was friendly and welcoming at check-in and happy to answer questions about the area.the general manager was great.

One thing I appreciated was the good value for the price — you get a convenient location and comfortable stay without paying downtown boutique hotel prices. Parking was easy, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed and safe.

If you’re looking for a solid, affordable place to stay in Boise that’s convenient and comfortable, I would definitely recommend staying here. I would happily stay again!

Entire hotel is in need of a good scrubbing, updating and fixing.
Pros:

Location was okay. Staff snd lobby area okay. Bed was clean.

Cons:

Very dirty front entrance, carpets, and elevator. Our room was poor-decent. Stained dirty card entry on door, missing tile and old dirty grout in bathroom. Dirty shower curtain. Floors overall need a deep cleaning. Mattress is too soft, needs updating.
