It was okay
Pros:

It was someplace to sleep and enjoy the pool, but hot tub jets weren’t working.

Cons:

Tub jet weren’t working and they were no towels at pool side. Mattress was old and squeaky. Door entry didn’t work every time. Breakfast meat and potatoes were over cooked.

Pros:

The staff was nice. It is clearly a very relaxed work environment. They were joking around, cussing a little (didnt bother me), and teasing guests and eachother.

Cons:

The hotel is kind of scary. It is very dimly lit. The doors are all broken, so you have to park up front and walk a LONG way to your room. There is literally duct tape holding the carpet together and down (poorly). The pillows were dirty. Our door looked like it had been broken down at 1 point, ao to get it to lock, we had to set the deadbolt and that uppwr latch...which we would have done anyway to feel safe. The "a/c" kind of worked, but yoy have to turn the "fan" or to distribute the air and its SO LOUD. Not to mention the outside looks like a good place to do a drug deal. The pictures on the site are absolutely NOT accurate. The only reason we stayed is because they wouldn't refund our money. Thank God my husband was with us, because there is NO WAY my elderly mother and I would have felt safe staying alone.

It’s cheap for a reason.
Pros:

Easy to get to, right off the freeway.

Cons:

It is very run down, looks dirty and the carpet was taped throughout the hotel. The bathroom floors were dirty, beds were clean but overall just looks old and dirty. Would not stay there again.

Deceptive Dump!!!!
Pros:

No phones in the rooms
In 2019, Richard Red Lion was to spend 10 million dollars renovating the hotel; this clearly did not happen!
The carpet is filthy, as old as the hotel and literally held together with tape!
You have to request maid service but cannot call down for it because there are NO phones in the rooms.
I requested toilet paper and other amenities in the morning and several hours later still had NO toilet paper. When i brought this to the attention of the front desk person, she got snarky with me and said I should show more grace when requesting toilet paper and ither services.
This hotel is a dump!!!! It's not a 3 star hotel; it's a 1 star hotel.

Cons:

This hotel offers really poor value for money; when checking in, I couldn't find a front desk staff member for ages. There were also stains on the duvet and bed sheets. I do not recommend staying here!
