Fab hotel in a fab location
Pros:

Location is perfect if you are attending an event at the P&J and are able to walk the short distance to the venue. I have stayed here twice and couldn't fault the hotel, the staff are friendly and the food is amazing.

Cons:

The radiators in the bedrooms are large and quite close to one side of the bed - beware of the heat!

Regular visitor; perfect place to get to the P and J Live
Pros:

The location suited us perfectly as we were attending an event at the P and J arena. It was great that the hotel is a short distance away from the venue on foot. We enjoyed the space available in the room and loved that our view was of the P and J. The hotel and all areas of our room were spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I liked the comfiness of the bed and the shower which was luxurious and easy to use. The staff were super knowledgeable and friendly as they enquired about how the event went after we had attended. Nothing was too much trouble for them either.
I like the decor within the hotel and found a gorgeous library on the first night we stayed; which was a great added touch.

Cons:

I thought the room could have done with an extra plug socket in our room but apart from this tiny minor detail; everything about our stay was perfect.

Lovely overnight stay, perfect location for P&J live
Pros:

Great location for P&J live, nice fresh breakfast, comfortable bed

Cons:

Old style key entry for door entry, rooms could do with being upgraded, old windows.

Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.
Pros:

Check-in was very straightforward and all the staff we met were very nice and friendly. The bed, although small (we're used to a king size, not a double) was very comfy. Bathroom was nice and clean. Bar area and restaurant area were both very nice. Lovely 5 minute walk to P & J Live, which was great.

Cons:

Room felt too cluttered and too small. Too much furniture in a small space and very dated. Floorboards were all extremely noisy, both in our room and the corridor. Lots of banging doors late at night from other guests. Cleanliness was not the best - under a bedside cabinet was really filthy and clearly had not been hoovered or cleaned in a while. Extension cables in clear view as not enough plug sockets. Whole room could basically do with an upgrade. It would have been nice to have been asked how our stay was when we checked-out, but no-one did, or we may have mentioned some of these issues.

Ideal location for our trip but hotel needs improved
Pros:

Location was perfect for attending the PJ Live arena. Easy to use public transport to get into city centre.

Cons:

Hotel was a little dated in some areas. Bed was uncomfortable. Shower was like a wet room and flooded the whole bathroom floor which we felt was very unusual.
