Very friendly staff, very helpful, breakfast excellent buffet and hotel very clean. Room was warm. Large carpark.
Bar was a bit cold and seat's not comfortable.
Over priced evening meal. Room basic needs updated and windows needs replaced. Evening meal overpriced.
Stayed there before and knew it's a decent place with plenty of parking. If you're driving it's better than staying closer to the airport and struggling to park.
Older hotel but very clean, good rooms, great price and staff very friendly and helpful.
Proximity to the town centre.
Bar longer was comfortable
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish!
I have organised many parties and this time it was an emigrating party with a meal for 50 including rooms.
John, Arlene and staff were amazing. They had set out the room and prepared a projector for a slideshow with attention to every little detail. The meal was wonderful with many positive comments. The breakfast was also fantastic. The staff at this hotel is attentive and very friendly and were an absolute joy to deal with. I have since recommended the Craighaar to many family and friends. If you want a party venue or just a nice meal you will not be disappointed! Looking forward to returning for a meal. Well done staff ❤️
Location, restaurant and bar
Shower temperature hard to control
Perfect placement and size for conference.
Comfy beds, clean and staff were lovely
Room very small
Staff very friendly, nice surrounding and room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection.
Soup at lunch was warm not hot. Wife thought the pillows on the bed were too flat.
Arrived and was welcomed immediately. Sat in front of the open fire in the bar it was lovely. We had steaks that were beautifully cooked to our taste. Pudding was delicious. We were looked after by attentive staff. The hotel is local to me can't wait to go back. Great night
the staff were really nice and very helpful. The location was great for us as we went to an event close by. Very helpful with an issue i had. The bathroom was nice.
The room was called a "Suite". It had no windows apart from a broken stiff velux skylight. It felt clostrphobic and dark. The beds. Just terrible. The most important aspect of a hotel is comfort. We chose the hotel to have a better experience than a generic travelodge. The beds were that bad that we considered leaving at 2 a.m to go to the local Travelodge. The mattres on the main bed was a very used 6" with no support . The mattres on the pullout bed was literally an inch. Both were 3/4 size. The room was clean but dated and could have done with a lick of paint. Not worth £160 a night. Travelodge was £96 with proper sized beds and comfortable mattresses. That should tell you something as an owner. Invest in better beds, modernise the rooms and half your price. Then you may legitimately compete with Travelodge. Just my honest opinion and not personal to the owners as they were lovely people.
The staff and friendly and helpful, the food is good, the bar is lovely and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
No everything was good.
