Staff not helpful
Pros:

Balcony view of the cricket match was amazing.

Cons:

Was extremely difficult to get into the parking on match day, no signposting and no info sent beforehand on how to access, only told that access would be different on match days. Also had difficulty getting into the building from the cricket ground and was told by staff member I was in an unauthorized area but not assisted to nearest entrance although I asked because I am disabled. I was told to go back through cricket ground, around, out of ground and in entrance although the staff member took a shorter route and was standing at reception when I got there. Not very helpful at all.

Absolutely fantastic stay
Pros:

I kindly got a room upgrade with pitch view which I can’t thank you enough as I was in Manchester for some dental surgery in the morning and with a cricket match playing in the afternoon certainly took my mind off the pain watching the cricket from the comfort of my balcony for a good 5 hours

Cons:

Very hot walkway to restaurant block but it was 2 off the hottest days this year so expected really

Will definitely return
Pros:

Rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfy: also really like the shower.
Had a lovely meal in the restaurant and great views of the cricket ground

Lovely hotel but needs a little more attention to detail.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, beautiful food and very comfortable bed, really enjoyed my stay.

Cons:

The cleaning in communal areas was quite bad in the lift lobbies with sills dusty, debris and cobwebs and glass door panels were dirty on every door which was a shame as the hotel is beautiful and would be easy to clean.

Loved the view, friendly staff and extremely convenient location.
Pros:

Close walk to Old Trafford and the tram lines are right next door

Cons:

A bit of a mission to walk between buildings on the first floor with no porters available to assist. Maybe introduce porters to help guests at least going to the second building

Pros:

Very clean. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. For the price I feel breakfast could have been included. Love that check-out was 12 Noon, which gave you plenty of time to get ready. Check in was 3pm, but when we arrived at 1.45pm our room was ready which was great so we could drop off bags before attending the cricket.

Cons:

No toilet brush in bathroom. Not much to do in the evening unless you got tram back in to centre of Manchester.
