not worth the money for one nights stay really dissapointed

Disappointed especially for price.
Pros:

It was close enough to where we wanted to be.

Cons:

It wasn’t clean, we paid the £50 deposit when arriving which was steep compared to most deposits that I’ve paid on previous stays in different hotels. But the bathroom had not been cleaned properly in the room with fluff in the shower and an empty cocktail can still in the shower. The toilet roll was at the end of the roll and had not been changed just over all a not clean bathroom.

Cons:

We booked a room with a king bed and were given a double. When we asked for more pillows we were told the hotel did not supply extras and we would need to use what was in the room. I was charged twice for the room and had to go back to ask for my money back to be told I wasn’t double charged it was a ‘holding fee’. Only to be told a day later I was charged twice and then had to get a refund on my money that took 5 working days to get back a significant amount of money.

Comfortable stay but overall underwhelming

Cons:

I expected more options for breakfast, quite basic in my opinion for a 4 star hotel. Charging socket in the bathroom was not working. For what I paid, I couldn't see the value.
