The hotel has had a refurbishment which was needed and much improved especially the rooms. Great comfort & breakfast was excellent. Love the location in Sutton with Howth just down the road. Sea view also a bonus from the back rooms !
Nothing wrong at all. The lift was a bit wonky but could have been something simple so no issues
It’s a beautiful and classic hotel
Phone wasn’t working, no room service, breakfast wasn’t working well, but the worst thing was the staff, rude the receptionist Vaso
All good
To be all good
I like the location beside the sea
I liked everything in this hotel and I hate to fault it in anyway but I feel the only way it could have improved is to have a staff member cleaning the tables in the foyet
The room was grim. Superior double. Bed by the entry door, facing the bathroom literally a step away from the bathroom door, damaged wardrobe door, dusty curtains, dirty windows. The room looked out onto the humming fans on the roof. Constant movement and noise across the corridor. Makes it "extra special" when your bed is by the room door... food - no room service, restaurant- smells of dirty dishes, sorting food became a chore for the duration of my stay. Location - beautiful, good parking. Reception team - the morning shift are welcoming and friendly. I could not wait to be done with my stay, unfortunately, perhaps its just that one room, the restaurant and no room service has put me off from booking again as otherwise the hotel is perfectly located for what I need.
Location staff very helpful
The parking when there was an event on
I love the setting the rooms and the staff
Not really a problem. The rooms are being updated which is a good thing
The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from a DART station with direct trains to Dublin and Howth, and a direct bus to the airport. There are shops and restaurants opposite the hotel, and a beach very nearby. It was very good value and I would rate this as a much better option than staying in the centre of Dublin. The staff were helpful and friendly. My single room was adequate in size with very good storage facilities and desk.
The room decor was a little tired and for me it was a bit too warm - but I was able to open the window. Minor things really, no great problem.
We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel.last week, from the minute we entered the place was so friendly, girl on reception was Zlata an made us feel so welcome and honestly was so friendly, dinner was beautiful and the waitors could not do enough even pouring the water ,they made us feel so special ,definitely would stay here again as was so kid friendly an staff go above and beyond to help you.
Good breakfast. Comfortable room
Little bit pricey
Got lovely bowl of porridge.
The walk outside after swim and sauna.
My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Marine Hotel. I had phoned in advance to request a sea view, if possible, as it was my husband's birthday and were given a fabulous room. I have a suspicion we may have been upgraded and if we were thank you so much. It was appreciated.
The room was spacious, clean with a beautiful sea view. It also was so quiet. If I hadn't seen other guests going in to their rooms I could have believed we were the only guests in that corridor.
The pool was small but clean. Perfectly usuable for a few lengths. We also enjoyed the sauna and steam room.
Breakfast was fine. I like that they bring a pot of tea or coffee to your table instead of using the hot drink machines that so many places use these days.
We ate in the bar one evening. My husband said it was the best burger he has ever had in his life.
Staff were always friendly and courteous despite having to deal with some very rude guests.
If you had wanted to visit Dublin city centre the train station is a short walk away. We explored Howth which has some lovely walks and is a delightful area to visit.
We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would return.
We recently hosted a large family event in the Marine Hotel in Sutton.
Enjoyed a fabulous 4-course meal in a beautiful private dining room .
Veronica in the Sales Department was a joy to deal with, nothing was a problem and all our requests were met.
The meal itself was fantastic - up there with any 5-star hotel equivalent in Dublin in terms of quality and standard of food.
Food was delicious, with generous portions for everyone and piping hot.
Great wine selection, reasonably priced and very good.
All the staff on the day were warm, friendly and efficient and really added to the event.
Overall, it was an excellent experience and one that I would highly recommend.
Thanks to all.
