Pleasant stay overall.
Pros:

Location was great, walking distance to Kanata Town Center. The reception was nice, even though the pool was out of service, we were offered a complimentary breakfast and also a voucher for the wave pool across the highway.

Cons:

Unfortunately the pool was out of service, which our kids were looking forward to.

Fast one day but just went over to sleep
Pros:

It’s well located but I guess they where fixing the building cause there was wallpaper ripped out in my floor

Exceptional Staff and a Truly Family-Friendly Stay
Pros:

From start to finish, our stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel was spotless, and the front desk staff—Paul, Dave, and Cara—were truly outstanding and made our experience unforgettable.

We were in town for a kids’ hockey tournament, and this was by far one of the most welcoming hotels we’ve ever stayed at with a team. The staff went out of their way to greet the kids, chat with them, and make them feel special every single time they walked through the doors.

When our game schedule unexpectedly changed on checkout day, leaving us with an eight-hour gap between games, the staff handled it effortlessly. They immediately extended our checkout time and even offered us a conference room to relax in. What could have been a stressful day turned into a smooth, stress-free experience. It was just as easy for several families—including ours—to extend our stay an extra night.

The highlight was when the kids returned to the hotel after winning the gold medal. The staff was waiting with huge smiles, cheering them on, offering heartfelt congratulations, and handing out celebratory chocolates. The next morning, Paul greeted the girls with so much excitement and pride for their hard work and big win—it truly meant the world to them.

Our girls absolutely loved their stay, and as parents, we couldn’t have been more grateful for the warmth, flexibility, and genuine care shown to our families. This hotel goes above and beyond in every way and truly sets the standard for hospitality—especially for families and sports teams.

Great hockey game overnight location
