Exceptional Staff and a Truly Family-Friendly Stay
Pros:

From start to finish, our stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel was spotless, and the front desk staff—Paul, Dave, and Cara—were truly outstanding and made our experience unforgettable.

We were in town for a kids’ hockey tournament, and this was by far one of the most welcoming hotels we’ve ever stayed at with a team. The staff went out of their way to greet the kids, chat with them, and make them feel special every single time they walked through the doors.

When our game schedule unexpectedly changed on checkout day, leaving us with an eight-hour gap between games, the staff handled it effortlessly. They immediately extended our checkout time and even offered us a conference room to relax in. What could have been a stressful day turned into a smooth, stress-free experience. It was just as easy for several families—including ours—to extend our stay an extra night.

The highlight was when the kids returned to the hotel after winning the gold medal. The staff was waiting with huge smiles, cheering them on, offering heartfelt congratulations, and handing out celebratory chocolates. The next morning, Paul greeted the girls with so much excitement and pride for their hard work and big win—it truly meant the world to them.

Our girls absolutely loved their stay, and as parents, we couldn’t have been more grateful for the warmth, flexibility, and genuine care shown to our families. This hotel goes above and beyond in every way and truly sets the standard for hospitality—especially for families and sports teams.

Great hockey game overnight location
Pros:

We were greeted by super front desk staff Paul. Welcoming and very fun even though he was very busy.
We were also very thankful for Noah’s patience in the restaurant.
Beautiful and very clean room!

My kids had a blast and were nothing but happy, and that's the most important thing
Pros:

- The hotel was clean
- Had a pool that the kids loved
- I really liked that each tv had a Google Chromecast connected to it
- The shower was nice
- The very little interaction I had with the staff was pleasant
- The curtains did a good job at blocking the light
- The bed/sheets/pillows were all clean and comfortable
- The location is great
- The check-in and check-out process was super easy

Cons:

These could be very 'nit-picky', but here is everything:
- There was no "gentl light" in the living room, low enough for sleep but bright enough to avoid bumping into a table if getting up in the middle of the night
- The bathroom door wouldn't stay in position. It would open to about half way even when left slightly ajar
- The little motion-detecting light in the bathroom wasn't bright enough, but the only other lighting option in the bathroom was way too bright
- The toilet paper was really cheap, which I know would be a massive cost to upgrade, so it is what it is
- The bedroom doors were really awkward. One door would bump into the bathroom door and the other had to be closed all the way to get to the side of the bed
- The bedroom doors sqeeked, which prevent me from closing at night after the kids fell asleep
- The Chromecasts were mixed up so the living room was on the bedroom's tv, and vice-versa
- Streaming to the Chromecast was a pain to get working and something I feel a non-tech-savvy grandma could have figured out
- The pool was a little too cold for comfort and my kids' lips were a little purple because of it (but wasn't too cold for a kid to care)
- The changeroom setup was confusing and would have been a lot nicer to have an actual change room with a bench and somewhere to put my clothes down instead of having them be on the ground
- The lock on the change room didn't work. My family went into the change room, pressed the lock button, the light turned red implying it was locked, and someone opened the door on us while we were changing
- My kid has diabetes so we need to calculate her food based on the nutritional factors.

Better experience than other hotels. I hope they don't change anything.
Pros:

Front staff was very courteous and helpful and offered me a parking pass, as I had to park across the street. I wish I got their name!
We needed extra blankets for the kids and the front desk attendant personally brought them to our room within minutes! The room was very clean and spacious and easily accommodated a young family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children).

Bathroom was clean and spacious and I absolutely loved the DOVE soaps!

Breakfast was great with large portions! No buffet, only sit down service making it less chaotic.
I would definitely revisit!
