Lovely scenic area. Close to town for shopping, food and cinema.
Clean room but did get very hot. Glad there was a fan in the room as had to put this in in the evening to cool down the room in Sept.
Great hotel near local transportation just a few pounds to the tram allowing excellent connections to the city centre. A relatively old building but clean and perfectly serviceable. Great staff who are polite and respectful. Restaurant was a typical limited menu but the two meals we had were perfectly acceptable. Reasonably priced. Overall I’d definitely stay there again.
During my stay, I encountered an issue with insects in the room, including a spider and multiple ladybugs. I promptly informed reception, and while the staff attended swiftly and courteously to remove them, the matter persisted, as more ladybugs appeared shortly afterwards.
Although I appreciated the prompt response from the team, the recurrence of this issue significantly impacted the overall comfort of my stay and raises concerns regarding the room’s upkeep and preventative maintenance.

The property was ideal for what we needed as we were out most days and wanted a comfy place to rest. The spa is worth the price for all facilities available.
1 night stay in the hotel. Staff were very good. Polite and very helpful.
Hotel is very run down. Our Room was very tired. Bathroom had a lot of mould around the mastic sealant in the bath etc. Wanted a cup of tea in the morning, only to find the tea bag wrappers were covered in mould!
I use B.W quite a lot, and this was probably the most run down B.W I've stayed in.
Really noisy room, had window open to let air in and was kept awake by noise of people leaving restaurant and noise in hotel corridor. Corridors and room were in a sorry state, TV remote was absolutely vile, covered in hand grime. Overall cleanliness of bedding, towels and fixtures was spotless. Staff at reception were great, happy and informative. It appears the staff are doing a great job with a run down establishment.

What disappointed us greatly is that now the sports centre is not free to hotel residents. Therefore we missed out on our daily swim !!! We refused to pay extra for the convenience ....
Otherwise the hotel where we have stayed several times is excellent.

Liked the complmentary bottles of water each day. Everything was great, enjoyed our stay.
Overall the property was great for a short stay (we stayed 1 night). However, it was really hot in the room and there was no AC. Fan was provided but it wouldn't have done the trick if it was any hotter that day. The fan was also very dusty. It needs some modernisation. I would still recommend this hotel for a short stay.
Grsat stay
The garden is beautiful with a variety of birds and wild life. The spa and gym club is excellent. The staff are great and the hotel is good value.i have stayed several times in recent years and always have a great time. Many thanks to all who make it such a pleasure to return time after time. See you soon.
Room two has no window and the toilet is so close to the bath that you have to sit with your legs closed. Your bum touches the wall on one side and the bath on the other.
When I was talking to the staff I said I don't have a window they said your in room 2 it's the worst room.
The staff are all very nice but room 2 has the worst bathroom that I have ever had in any hotel. I stay away a lot.
This room should be offered at a cheaper rate. My colleague also stayed and his room and bathroom were fine.
Fine for central London quick business trip. A bit dated but overall not bad value.
Nice setting, plenty of on site free parking, friendly helpful staff and good food.
Hotel needs a bit of modernising and lick of paint inside, but perfectly adequate to stay in.
