Love staying here but extra charges are frustrating
Pros:

Stayed many times over 20 years . Staff warm and welcoming nothing too much trouble , great food too !

Cons:

Charging extra to use the spa , this was included few years ago . Car park charges too unless spend £25 or more in bar , again never used to do this

Love staying here
Pros:

Stayed here a lot over twenty years , staff are great do warm and friendly . Nothing too much trouble . Great food too !

Cons:

Having to pay extra for use of spa and car park ( though we always spend enough in the bar for it to be deducted )

Ok but rubbish will not stay again

Cons:

The fact that after booking I tried to reserve evening meal and spa but received a msg saying to sort at reception, at reception at check in the restaurant was fully booked and had to leave site for a meal. Also someone else’s rubbish in my bin in room not sure what else was missed but was late so went to bed. Complained next morning to nothing they can do

Enjoyed the luxury and comfort of the hotel.
Pros:

A beautiful hotel which was well maintained. I received a great welcome from the receptionist. The room was luxurious, comfortable and clean. It had a fridge. The shampoo and shower gel were of a high quality. It was good value for my and a great location.

Cons:

Having to pay for parking especially as I have a blue badge.

A very pleasant stay
Pros:

Decor of the hotel and room, friendly staff and a great breakfast.

Cons:

Room 124, the shower's temperature control knob was broken. The shower was warm but couldn't make it hot.

Nice hotel but strange layout and over priced it’s in a retail park £162 for room only including parking is to rich imo.

Cons:

Charing £12 parking as I booked through booking.com on top of £150 room only rate is poor. Seemingly if I booked directly it’s free. Well don’t use booking.com if you’re going to punish the customer.

Overpriced
Pros:

Average hotel

Cons:

Repeatedly no-one on reception. Had to ask to turn down music in corridor at 12.30am. Woke up by bin men at 6am. Gym and parking extra costs. I've had better in London at this price.
