Pros:

We have stayed at this property several times and every time has been amazing. The staff is attentive and very helpful and the inclusive breakfast is great. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a small boutique hotel rather than a large resort.

The property is incorrectly placed on the map by Expedia. This is actually located on Hermosa Beach so no swimming in the beach at all. It's too dangerous. The hotel main pool was under construction June 2025 so we decided to leave the hotel and go to one that was actually in SOUTH Jaco beach for friendly beach waves you CAN swim in.
The hotel did provide free drinks in the room mini fridge for the inconvenience of not having the main pool open. The drinks at the pool were reasonably priced. If you don't care about not being able to swim right at the hotels beach or the main pool (smaller pool was open) then this is an excellent hotel

Stunning beachfront restaurant setting. Enjoyed Warren’s hospitality. He is a class act and has a lovely resort. He’s updating the pools and I am sure that the rooms will also receive a facelift.

Ocean/beach front on Paradise Beach. Room was spacious with balcony overlooking main pool but the pool was unfortunately closed under construction during stay. Smaller pool was open and enjoyed. Room safe was locked and not bolted down to anything so pointless. Breakfast was decent.

Great beach and restaurant. Owner was there every night greeting guests. Food was excellent. Entertainment in the dining area Sat & Sun was excellent, if just a bit loud. Close to, but not in Jaco - need to take a ride share or cab.

I did not appreciate the fact that after the pool stopped the music at 8:30, other guests continued blaring music until after 11pm. Also, the door to our room did not close unless the deadbolt was engaged.

Terraza Del Pacifico was a fantastic experience. The suite that we got had a view right by the beachfront and the sounds of the waves was very soothing at night. The have a wonderful pool you can swim in if the waves are a little too intimidating. The beachfront itself is an enjoyable walk with a beautiful forest backdrop behind the hotel.
The restaurant at the hotel had fantastic food and quality service. The gallo pinto was the best I had during my whole trip in Costa Rica! The staff was responsive and assisted with anything.
The room itself had an air conditioning unit, a comfortable bed, a large shower and a wonderful little balcony.
I suggest this spot if you're looking for a nice stay in Jaco near the beach. Loved it and I will consider it again for any future trips down to this wonderful country!
