Friendly staff.
Our heater didn't work and they came and changed it out and it still didn't work. They didn't offer to move us to another room. The whole side of our wing smelled like Marijuana and my daughter has asthma and we weren't able to sleep due to her breathing problem. We also told the front desk about that and still nothing. Sad for the money I paid for the room. Also no breakfast the next morning.
Good room
Very poor breakfast
The customer service was great all employees were super helpful and kind.
Area felt like it was put right at the back of a junk yard but thankful there was nothing to worry about. We were safe the whole time. Also the breakfast was a grab and go which I didn’t expect.
The hotel was a good location for the places I intended to visit during my stay in Portland, being less than 20 minutes away. The value of the hotel is exceptional considering all that's included (free parking, free wifi, and a kitchenette) at such a low price.
Checking in took a bit longer than I would have liked, though it was nothing egregious. The bed was firmer than what I'm used to sleeping on.
Was clean
I booked king room and when I got there there was no more king rooms I was stuck with double queens , also the surrounding areas lots of druggies and bad area around hotel
The clean room and comfy beds and good security for your cars parked at the hotel. It was the cheapest option for me to stay at.
Outside of the property too many homeless people on drugs not safe for kids or women to be out on their own. This is the biggest issue of this place unfortunately and it’s not the hotels fault but it does affect their surveys. Breakfast is not the best. It could be better
My TV remote did not work. They had only one person covering the front desk. He was pleasant but didn't have time to help with my remote until later that night. The breakfast was poor. I think someone on the staff compromised my credit card after I checked in because fraudulent charges started after I used the card at this place. I gave my card to someone at the front desk and it was taken and used in a back room.
Staff charged us even though we booked through Booking, still trying to deal with getting double charged and waiting on refunds. $6000 is TOO MUCH
Everything.
The location.
All is well.
Location.
Location was good.
I was given a room on the 2nd floor, right above the reception desk, room #224, even though the hotel was half-empty. All evening and part of the night, I could hear all the loud conversations between the receptionist and the permanent regulars of the hotel. Not just conversations, but arguments.
In my room, I was only given one bar of soap and a tiny tube of shampoo. The bathtub was dirty, and there were someone's black hairs on the walls. It was so disgusting that I couldn't take a shower! See the photos.
There wasn't even a blanket on the bed, let alone a duvet. Just a thin sheet and a cotton cover. And it's winter outside, mind you. See the photos.
At 5:30 in the morning, I was woken up by the terribly loud sound of a vacuum cleaner. The night shift receptionist decided to start vacuuming the main hall at 5:30 in the morning. Can you imagine?
akao
Breakfast... It was an absolute jock! And yet the advertisement promised a "superior continental breakfast." Nothing of the sort! There were two dispensers of coffee, one with hot water, and that was it for drinks! No juices, no milk, not even plain water! In a small refrigerator, I saw two baby size yogurts and packages of two hard-boiled eggs.
And then there were those small, unappetizing, cheap muffins with preservatives in plastic bags!
Some packets of instant oatmeal and hot chocolate.
Not a single piece of fruit, no bread even, no butter, no jam. And of course, there were no disposable plates or bowls either. Why bother? There are coffee cups for the oatmeal, you know. EVEN CHEAP MOTELS OFFER A BETTER SELECTION!
I had a terrible night and morning at this place! I am incredibly disappointed and strongly do not recommend this place! I would like to demand a refund! This kind of "vacation" shouldn't cost $99 a night!
NoTh
I didn't even go in the room. I checked in and left then come back like a hour later and requested a refund because I had a family emergency and I hadn't even gone in the room at all, never used keys and never went past the front deak. The person working sid she couldn't authorize that and shed leave a note for the manager, I also sent a email through you guys and never heard anything back. I still want my money back and I'm not sure who to talk to, I'm extremely disappointed with your company and will never book with you again. And I still want my money back
Nothing
Do not stay here ! A-lot of homeless and people just hanging out . A lot of people living in this hotel like a house so nasty
