Summit Suites

Sadly not impressed from the start. And it just keeps getting worse. From the moment we walked in our family suite the first thing we noticed were several large carpet stains. Knowing other hotels usually charge for incidentals for things like this, I let the front desk know so we wouldn’t. A little later when my son went to take a shower we noticed one of the shower hooks was hanging on by a thread and was about to rip out of the wall. Again, I let the front desk know so as not to get charged for damages we didn’t do.
The kicker and what is the most frustrating for us is we went to climb into bed to get a good night sleep for our early departure for soccer games the following morning and every single one of the beds had been remade with dirty slept-in sheets. Hair, food, stains…. all made up knowingly and perfectly by the maid, who cleaned the room prior to our arrival. Again, I called the front desk to let them know that this was unacceptable and unclean. She told me to come down and get new sheets to change myself at 10pm. Even the pullout couch bed had been made up with dirty sheets. Appalling.
I was told the manager would be back the following morning. When I visited with her about it and ask for concessions, she told me there was really nothing they could do. All of the hotel rooms were sold out due to the soccer tournament weekend and the owner was unwilling to offer any sort of refund, even a partial refund. I feel like a partial refund is absolutely warranted in this

Comfortable room with easy parking and good breakfast options.

Check in and out was easy. The building and our room were clean, attractive and comfortable. We didn’t have time to try the pool or hot tub but they looked inviting. The continental breakfast was good for what it had but was lacking protein. It was a great deal for the money and we are likely to return.

There were miscellaneous repairs that were needed such as wiggly door handles, a slow elevator, wobbly tables in the dining area, etc. The rooms were relatively clean (compared to much worse locations that I’ve stayed at), but we had a bug problem in our room, the fridge was frosted over and not cooling anymore and the air conditioner didn’t get very cool. The overall decor of the hotel was dated. That said, the staff I interacted with were polite, although not overly hospitable, the check-in was quick and we had hot water and clean sheets.

It took me awhile to find it. I called around 10 times for directions, Bri was so patient each time I called. The sign was not changed to Summit Suites yet. My stay there was excellent! I would recommend to stay there.

It was very clean, with a good continental breakfast. The room was large with a wetbar, and frig.

As food as the big chains for a much better price. Clean rooms, good bed.

I was very pleased with this property especially at such a low price. I stayed twice in 5 days during a road trip and both rooms were clean and quiet, just what I needed after a long day driving. The breakfast was also better than the usual “free” breakfast which usually isn’t worth what you pay 😜

Was clean and comfortable. However one note is if you need reliable internet, the internet connection was very weak.
