The water views and exceptionally friendly staff ! Breakfast was also beautiful
Excellent stay! The location was perfect - walkable to shops, restaurants, waterfront. Staff was amazing - every single staff person was so friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. I had to work a few hours and there was a nice desk in the room to do that. They have a breakfast and put out snacks in the afternoon. There is a nice outdoor sitting area. Really great stay. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Baltimore.
The continental breakfast was perfect way to start the day. The rooms were spacious and quiet.
The bed was a little firm for me, but otherwise was fine.
Location was great Very clean and we were greeted by Santa clause when we checked in AKA Eric
Breakfast was skimpy Could have had hot grits pancakes etc
This is a lovely historic property right on the water. The views are absolutely fantastic and the hotel has real character. More importantly, all of the staff are wonderful and attentive. Shout out to Tara at the front desk for being a true star. She was so personable and inviting, she made us feel right at home during our check in process.
pretty location overlooking the marina, close to many fabulous restaurants and boutique shops. Warm welcome and extremely helpful friendly reception staff, Corey and Kristian were fabulous, hospitality is homely and friendly. coffee, cookies and happy hour cocktails were a very nice touch. Rooms are clean and have lovely amenities, special touches like the robes are a special added touch. Overall the experience day 1 has exceeded all expectations, looking forward to the rest of the stay
Great hotel. Right next to the water with beautiful views. Lots around us to do. Very cosy but upscale hotel. Love the reception area which was a nice place
For us to hang out together. Staff were so friendly and appreciate the extra care Kristian gave us. Happy hour was great. Our room is just the right size with a nice view. Would recommend.
Tara was an amazing help checking us in last minute, was super quick and simple, and she made sure we knew what was around the area!! The rooms were nice and clean
The front desk agent Tara was great and the harbor view from the room was beautiful.
The tv did not work and there was no one who could fix it during our stay.
Location is beautiful…nicely appointed rooms and wonderful staff
The hotel was clean, updated, in a nice setting on the water, great views, in a quiet residential neighborhood but just a couple blocks from local attractions-shops-restaurants-bakeries-bars! Continental breakfast and coffee in the morning were perfect! Freshly baked cookies in the evening were good too! Everyone working at the hotel was nice. The district manager and the person checking us in gave us advice on a few places to eat.
I can’t think of anything!
The hotel itself is really nice and staff is super friendly. There are a few downsides.
Junk fees are plenty, some service fees etc and the indoor parking is outside (but it is safe).
The breakfast is not good.
During our stay the fire alarm went off and the acting of the employees did not inspire confidence. Obviously poorly trained running around like a headless chicken, being unable to check what set the alarm off and didn’t care about getting people out. Also, the alarm wasn’t audible in all rooms, some people slept through 30 minutes of constant siren. Other hotels usually have evacuation alarms in the rooms while this one only has it in the hallways. This is a safety concern big enough for me to not return until it’s fixed.
There was no fire this time, just some resident in the apartments above the hotel that overdosed and pulled the fire alarm to get help.
Our stay at the hotel was fine. I am disappointed in the hotel's business practices. I paid $34 in fees and taxes when I booked the hotel and the hotel's website states "free wifi."
Upon arrival I was charged another service fee of $19.90 for "internet and a robe and slippers" (according to the desk clerk). Once in the room the hotel information card read "complimentary internet."
The robe and slippers were not in the room. When I asked about then, the desk clerk said the hotel did not have slippers available but did bring a robe.
The clerk also told me that parking was $30.00 a night but actually costs $36.00.
I would describe the experience as poor given the deceptive pricing practices, hidden and/or poorly explained fees. We only stayed one night but are unlikely to return.
The hotel was in a nice location and the staff was friendly. I have no complaints about the building, location, or the staff. My complaints are strictly with the business practices and communication of fees associated with our stay. Here are the things we enjoyed: the location was good. It was convenient to dining, shops, and area entertainment. I am sure there are other chain hotels that can provide the same convenience without the confusing and misleading fee structures.
