Location is great, we were working in Knutsford so the hotel is ideal. We use it every week for business meetings but hadn’t previously stayed. Reception area, bar and parking are all ok.
Door to our bathroom was rotting at the bottom. You could smell the damp in the bathroom from the shower curtain. The shower is an over bath one and tile grout is old and dirty (room 224) . There is also a standard door between that and room 222. There is no noise insulation so we were woken at 0630 by the neighbours who talked continuously, took numerous phone calls and left their alarm running. They were so loud they sounded like they were in the room with us. We shared this with the staff. At breakfast we ordered two poached eggs and had the rest of breakfast with us on the table ready to be eaten. They took 15 mins to arrive and then four times staff came over and tried to keep giving us poached eggs on toast. Clearly no communication between the staff taking place. Watched staff walk over a guests jacket that had dropped to the floor and never thought to pick it up.
Really lovely property, staff were really friendly and the bar was well stocked.

Comfortable room, good breakfast, good restaurant.
Stayed here for 6 nights for husbands work and to house hunt in the area. The staff are amazing, so friendly and will do anything for you. A great location near Knutsford and easy access to train station and neighbouring towns. The food in the restaurant is really good, with buffet breakfast and dinner is outstanding. Just a really chilled vibe - enjoyed staying here.
I just thought it was very mediocre
I didn’t feel very clean in there and it is so not worth the money to be honest I was expecting more from a night in knutsford that should have been £175 that’s a hell of a lot of money for mediocre services and the spa was nothing special at all
Love this place. I travel to the North West on business and this hotel provides a great value place to stay. With spa on site and amazing staff it’s a no brainer.
The hotel was so clean and rooms were to a very high standard. Staff were very friendly and professional. Cannot rate the hotel and staff highly enough
