Beaches are nice. Rooms are modern and spacious. Great sunset view on the pool deck.
Limited beach towels. Stairs to do check-in and check-out.
Very friendly staff, great housekeeping, nice and spacious room with a very good bed in an overall amazing location, with direct beach access from the rooms. The layout was compact, amenities included a semi private beach, a quiet lounge with pool overlooking the entire town and a very nice breakfast/dinner restaurant. Also a lot of beach equipment was available to guests, including sun beds, parasols, swimming and snorkeling equipment, etc.
My only gripes would be the shower floor (river pebbles in grout) and the poor state of the access road/path on premise (to be fair, they were working on that, so this one should go over quickly).
This is my favorite place to stay in Saint-Martin. The hotel is gorgeous, with breathtaking views of the turquoise sea—it truly feels like paradise. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect, the pool is beautiful, and the restaurant offers an excellent menu. Everything was wonderful, and I can’t wait to return!
Nothing at all

We had the perfect location, two gorgeous beaches and an awesome bar and restaurant. The rooftop pool was amazing and so was our room and the staff. We could have stayed forever.
Nothing. I also provided a dynamite shuttle.
RAS.
We had the most wonderful vacation at the Grande Case Beach Club in St Maarten using! The rooms were right on the beach, great vibes and just gorgeous. A 5 minute walk into town for the Best restaurants on the Island! An amazing vacation!
Location was amazing ! Close enough yet secluded to have peace and quite
Nothing was perfect
We started coming to Grand Case Beach Club in 1995 and have never had a bad experience. We missed after Irma and during Covid. Each stay it keeps getting better. The rooms are spacious , incredibly clean and well equipped. If you are going to cook the kitchen has everything you need.. The staff are fantastic—friendly, very helpful and always remember us from previous stays. The longevity of the staff reflects on management and a great place to work The setting is gorgeous. Two beautiful beaches, a pool that sits on top of the restaurant and a well equipped gym. They offer yoga and beach exercise. The restaurant serves very good meals and drinks. There is bar service on each beach. The water sports desk has kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling equipment and floating mats that are free to guests. The grounds are very well maintained. There is always someone trimming, raking or sweeping. We always feel safe. Walking down to the restaurants and boutique shops in Grand Case is
about a 7 minute walk. Walking back after dark is still safe. There is a shuttle to take you down to the restaurants for a minimal fee. Our last 2 stays we brought our 2 children, their spouses and 4 adult grandchildren. We had 2 oceanfront townhomes and an oceanfront studio. Everyone had plenty of space. One in our party has mobility issues, but he was able to get around and enjoy all of the amenities. Our children and grandchildren now understand why this is our home away from home. Already looking forward to forward our next stay at GCBC.
This is the only place to stay in Grand Case--we can not wait to return. Our suite was perfectly clean and very comfortable. We had a big balcony that we used to have coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The restaurant at the resort was excellent--we ate there several times even though walking town is very easy--like a 7 minute walk. Both beaches are beautiful and the snorkeling is great. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful. We hope to come back very soon.
We loved staying here! We had a 2 bedroom ocean front unit. The place was well appointed and very comfortable for our family of four. We loved having the two terraces to enjoy the sunset views and relax by the water. The beaches were both beautiful. Best of all is the location- easily walkable to the town of Grand Case for access to fantastic restaurants and some cute shops. Highly recommend!
If I could give a 10 star review I would! This place is heaven! We can’t wait to come back again.
My family of six (Grandparents, Us and our small kiddos) just returned from the most magical stay in St. Maarten and The Beach Club…words do not due this property justice it truly is a magical place, perfect for families with small kids because the beach is right there so you don’t need to pack up everything you own every day to play at the beach…everything you need is right there.
Sadly our experience with the front desk was unpleasant to put it lightly. I interacted with the front desk three times, and every single time I felt confused and left feeling like I had somehow inconvenienced them. Perhaps it’s that I don’t speak French…which didn’t seem to be an issue when I called to book it rooms.
Here’s some tips to ensure you don’t run into the issues I did and you can have minimal interaction with the front desk. Book everything via email so you have proof of your conversations. Make sure to not accidentally leave your do not disturb rock back as a door stop to keep your door from locking because then you will not be able to have your room cleaned. The hotel and the restaurant are two separate entities so you must sign your final bill at each location. Try to deal with the gentlemen who sits at the concierge desk he was the only one who made me feel welcomed during my front desk interactions. When we checked in we were told that because the hotel was overbooked we (with our two small kids) would have to move rooms after one night. To be fair they did offer us $100 at the restaurant but after traveling 18+ hours to get to the island I literally had to beg and cry to ask to please not make us move…they eventually (after 2 attempts and 2 hours) worked this out and we got a fantastic room but the whole interaction lacked empathy and understanding, instead I was made to feel like the jerk for not wanting to move rooms. They also claimed they were never told we were traveling with children and since we didn’t have email proof of our phone conversation I couldn’t assert that we had told them multiple times on the phone.
All that to say that I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again, but follow the tips I listed above and set the bar for welcomeness and friendliness very very low.
Spectacular stay at Grand Case Beach Club!
The room was absolutely spectacular—super spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The on-site restaurant and bar were excellent, with a great selection and consistently good food and drinks. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and the venue itself is just beautiful. Best of all, it didn’t break the bank—great value for everything you get. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing stay at Grand Case Beach Club and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Martin. The property is absolutely beautiful, with two calm, crystal-clear blue beaches that were perfect for swimming, relaxing, and taking in the stunning views.
We stayed in a Two Bedroom Deluxe room, which was spacious, modern, and beautifully updated. It provided plenty of room for our group and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The food and drinks at Sunset Café were delicious, and the sunsets each evening were breathtaking. We also loved the convenience of the complimentary shuttle service into Grand Case Village, making it easy to enjoy the restaurants and shops without worrying about transportation.
Most importantly, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.
Grand Case Beach Club exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to St. Martin.
Location. Facility.
Grand Case Beach Club used to be one of my favorite places to stay. I came back several times. But sadly, this was probably my last visit.
The beach is still wonderful — calm, with crystal clear water and no seaweed. The rooms and grounds are very well maintained. But every time I went to reception with a small request — like booking a restaurant or changing beach towels — it spoiled my mood. Each request was handled as if I was bothering the receptionist and she was doing me a huge favor.
On checkout day, I finally understood why. When I gently mentioned that they could be a bit more polite to guests, I was told loudly, "I don't care. Goodbye," without any hesitation, right in front of other guests and her colleagues. The manager was sitting in the next room, clearly heard everything, and didn't even try to fix the situation or apologize for the receptionist.
And that is exactly the attitude you will get at this hotel. So if you're used to staff who care about you and help make your stay comfortable, I recommend looking somewhere else — there are plenty of good options even in Grand Case.
I do not wish to disparage the entire team. But as it happened, nearly every interaction during my stay was with Katherina at reception and her indifferent manager. Their motto, it seems, "I don't care. Goodbye."
