Enttäuschender Aufenthalt - deutliche Mängel trotz Zimmerumzug

Leider können wir diesen Aufenthalt nur mit 2 von 5 Sternen bewerten.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Frühstück für eine Nacht im Hotel Ocean Pearl Frankfurt Central Station (mittlerweile anscheinend Comfort Hotel) gebucht. Vor Ort stellten wir fest, dass das Hotel umbenannt wurde.

Zunächst bekamen wir ein Zimmer direkt unter dem Dach im 5. Stock. Bei den hohen Außentemperaturen war es dort extrem warm und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Nach Reklamation an der Rezeption durften wir in ein anderes Zimmer im 3. Stock umziehen. Dort funktionierte die Klimaanlage, allerdings traten dann weitere Probleme auf:

- Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht.
- Der Föhn war defekt.
- Der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken war lose und drehte sich.
- Die Steckdose im Bad war nicht mehr richtig in der Wand befestigt.
- WLAN und Fernseher funktionierten im Zimmer nicht.

Das Badezimmer war insgesamt in keinem guten Zustand (verschmutzte Fugen, alter Duschabfluss mit Schmutzrändern, poröse Silikonfugen). Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass das Bad länger nicht gründlich geputzt wurde.

Zusätzlich war auf Booking.com nicht ersichtlich, dass das Frühstück nicht im Hotel selbst, sondern in einem anderen Hotel in der Nähe eingenommen werden muss. Das war gut machbar, hätte aber vorab klar kommuniziert werden sollen.

Für 73 € pro Nacht hatten wir deutlich mehr Sauberkeit, Funktionalität und Komfort erwartet. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht (vor allem bei der Zimmerumlegung), aber die Gesamtsubstanz des Hotels entspricht nicht dem Standard, den man bei diesem Preis erwarten würde.

Katastrophe
Cons:

An Ekel kaum zu überbieten, Sauberkeit Katastrophe, alles was hier beschrieben ist trifft nicht zu. Der erste Schock, es gab keine Zimmer Schlüssel, man musste jedesmal zum "Empfang " das jemand die Zimmer auf macht.
Mit Frühstück gebucht, dort gibt es kein Frühstück, dann hätte man in ein anderes Hotel gehen müssen.
Deutsch als Sprache war am anreise Tag nur mit Übersetzungen.
Die Lage für Familien völlig ungeeignet, es stinkt im ganzen Hotel. Vorm Hotel und in der Straße offener Drogen handel.

Room ok for one person...not two!
Pros:

We liked the proximity to the train station and the restaurants. The room was a good price.

Cons:

The room we had was not the same as the picture advertised .
We didn't pay much for the room so we can't expect much but it was definitely very small and unpractical.
