The property's location was ideal and the staff I encountered were very helpful and kind.
The location is perfect and if you don't mind walking, you are close to most main attractions.
The rooms are tiny but that was expected based on previous reviews.
My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the bathroom and it's general upkeep.
The tiles in the shower was fitly and the soap dispensers over the sink was broken and dirty.
Finally, on Expedia, it's highlighted that there is a restaurant as well as a Bar & Lounge on site but this is incorrect, please remove and update.
Thank you.
Good communication
convenient
Place was great with comfortable beds
Loved the uniqueness of the place and the fact we had a balcony for our room. Room wasn't big but perfectly comfortable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was nice to have as well. The hotel location was great, walkable to sites and metro stations.Would recommend.
The staff were lovely and friendly, really nice building and area, in the thick of Pigalle without being super touristy. Had a great atmosphere. The cold water carafes were a nice touch. The rooms were small as some other reviews said but for a base for exploring, it couldnt be better.
Charming hotel, a little vintage but clean and comfortable! Perfect for ducking into after a day in Paris. The double room was intimate so definitely best for couples or close friends. The area has sooo much good food and wine around it, it’s perfectly located a few streets a ways from really touristy things (like moulin rouge and a few more from montmartre) so it felt like a much better mix of tourists and locals. Super close to a metro line too so easy to get to gare du nord and CDG airport! Loved it
Breakfast was lovely and lots of really nice restaurants within walking distance. Tube station only a couple of minutes walk away so really easy to get to CDG Airport without taxi.
Similar to all Paris hotels, the room was small but clean and nicely decorated and coffee, water and snacks were available for free all day.
The down side of being in a busy area with nice pubs and eateries was the noise at night with chattering and traffic noise heard into the early hours but it didn’t stop me sleeping.
Staff barely cleaned our room. I watched the room service use her hands to sweep our bathroom floor. It was disappointing and left dirty.
Hotel staff were all pleasant. The metro and the bus just steps away! Didn’t get a chance to have breakfast. TV didn’t work. Room was perfect for me since I was by myself but would be good for 2 people. I will definitely stay here again!
Everything was perfect but today earlier morning at 5am imagine 5!!!! The fire alarm sound so loud then everyone ran scary with no know what’s going on? When got down stair in the lobby one person from the kitchen told us it was a false alarm 🙄
Such sweet staff, close to metro and bus, central location.
This hotel is perfect if you were going to the Moulin Rouge and wanted to see the sights in Montmarte. The breakfast was a surprisingly basic but good.
Great boutique hotel.
The food options at R. Kipling were good, in terms of variety: there was cold cereal, muesli, pancakes, three or four different types of bread, three or four different jams or jellies, honey, two types of juice, several types of cheese, salami, cherry tomatoes, sausages, scrambled eggs, and raw eggs to be cooked. The variety was good! I didn’t find cold milk to put on cereal, though.
Breakfast was good. Beds were very comfortable. They had high speed WiFi too. The only problem was that the rooms were very small.
Loved it!
Great place to stay if you are doing Moulin Rouge
Good position and friendly staff.
Though all the members of the staff were very nice and heloful, the room was extremely small and did not contain elmentry and necessary things such as: laundry bag, shoehorn, vanity set and shower cap.
