Mega helpful reception, isolated location.
Pros:

Breaky was good. Coffee on tap all day. Reception staff above and beyond helpful (eg 4 hour late checkout for free). Great for the Fickett Conference Centre / National Scout centre, opposite (but not near anything else). I really enjoyed staying here despite some disadvantages.

Cons:

Its a strange thing, as there is no bar and no restaurant, and nowhere to eat within walking distance, and yet you can order food in, or go in a car/uber and bring it back. All the cutlery (single use plastic) and paper plates for breakfast were disposable (Global warming, what's that!) Also the lighting in the bedroom was not well thought out, so for example once it was even semi-dark you couldnt see into the wardrobe.
20 minute Uber to the centre (6th street) and about 10 minute Uber to the Domain. On those facts, I could have scored it just a 7 but the reception guys were just brilliant, so it got the 9 stars (and nearly a 10)

I’ve stayed here plenty of times. The guy working the night wouldn’t check me in and was very rude to me. I just asked if I should book another hotel or when I can I check in. He was extremely rude caught and attitude with me as said I don’t know maybe 4:30. I proceeded to say I’ll just get another hotel and he says yeah go do that. I go across the street to the sister hotel and he called the young Mexican girl running the desk. She won’t open the door. Says she got a call from the other hotel and that I was hostile. I don’t curse or raise my voice. I usually have good stays here. I’m going to ensure no one from my company or consortium of companies Im a part of in Austin stay here. I hope this night time employee is worth loosing this much business over.

Cons:

The night desk clerk. He wouldn’t check me in at 3:30 am after I paid for my room.

Enjoyable stay with my family.
Pros:

First off staff was exceptional! @ check in the lady was nice & helpful. She gave us complimentary water. Room was comfortable & clean. Breakfast was good as well but really full. This was my first stay & will definitely be back. Staff was very professional & nice(rare to encounter), so I have to stay staff stood out here. When I checked out. That lady was just as nice ^ professional as well. We stayed the Friday after Thanksgiving we had 2 conjoined rooms. Overall Great stay!

Cons:

Only issue was, we had conjoined rooms & my neice had no water pressure in her room. So their showers took really long as not much water was streaming out.
