Lovely room fab breakfast great gym
Friendly staff, nice pool and really nice hotel lobby area that had great breakfast options. The room was also cosy and comfortable.
Gym had missing weights, carpets in the room were stained. Toilet and bathroom smelt unpleasant suggesting they were not cleaned properly. The iron provided was not great and leaked a bit.
Great place with nice restaurant.
Also liked the swimming pool and the sauna!

The bathrooms in the bedroom were dated toilet is separate from the bath and no sink in the toilet room
The hotel itself and the location were really good. The pool was a bonus feature to the hotel and the restaurant looked lovely, although we didnt try it out.
The customer service, we requested a fan which was not delivered, waited up for ages then asked again and theh said they forgot.
Pool is the best thing in that hotel and big rooms, clean.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel genuinely disappointed and frustrated after our recent stay.
Firstly, the air conditioning in our room did not work at all. I am 8 months pregnant, and this made the night extremely uncomfortable and difficult to get through. We asked for a fan, but despite being told one would be provided, it never arrived. I barely slept.
The issues didn’t stop there. The TV in the room was also not functioning properly and wouldn’t connect to our phones, which was another inconvenience during what was supposed to be a relaxing stay.
What made things worse was the attitude of the staff. Rather than being helpful or understanding, they came across as argumentative, which only added to the frustration.
We had also booked a 10am pool slot. While we accept it was our fault for arriving late, we were not informed at the time of booking that the slot was limited to just 30 minutes. When we got there, the pool was completely overcrowded and full of children, making it impossible to enjoy. This was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, so it was incredibly disappointing.
To add to this, the sauna was not working either—another facility we were looking forward to using.
Overall, this stay felt like a complete waste of money. £120 for the evening is absolutely not worth it considering the number of issues we experienced. We specifically chose this hotel for its facilities, and to have so many of them either unavailable or not working was extremely disappointing. We could have easily stayed somewhere half the price and received the same (or better) level of service.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.
