The hotel had decent rooms, a nice pool and a decent bar.
Staff were great.
It was a bit of a walk to the town. Where were the pavements? But it was ok - 25 mins walk.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. Desmond at front desk was polite, kind and made us feel welcome. The bed was comfortable. Location is brilliant and the price is decent.
The pool is quite small for any leisurely swimming. The bathtub was quite tight, unclean and outdated. There were 2 minor stains on the bed.
We have stayed at a few Novotels. This one was lovely and clean. Dinner and breakfast were both lovely and very reasonably priced. This one had a pool which was a bonus although a little bit of supervision wouldn’t have gone amiss as there was a big sign stating no pool games but three teenage lads playing with a ball which made it impossible to swim properly.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and I loved the pool and sauna.
Carpet in the room is quite old and worn out. The room was comfortable but felt it could do with a refresh.
Nice big rooms, separate WC was amazing. Breakfast was great the first morning. Lovely setting peaceful outside.
Bar was closing early Friday why ? . Didn't have a decent decaf coffee either.
Info said there was a Jacuzzi and that's why we booked as my partner needs one for his condition but not one
Breakfast Sunday morning was poor. Too busy. No-one managing it there was so many times when Plates. Bowls, Cutlery etc. Ran out. Food too. No pastries for over an hour.coffee machine too slow why only one if there's no other hot water. Pancakes too slow too. They kept topping up the hot food but didn't look after the yoghurt station or continental section ? Dirty dishes piled up on a trolley left in the dining room when they needed to be washed quickly?
As I said no management - you were obviously going to be busy as there'd been a wedding the day before but same staff as Friday so couldn't cope.Felt really sorry for them but I wasn't happy with the experience on Sunday for the cost of the breakfast. No pastries poor fruit selection toaster useless.
Too many unsupervised children running about too. Not pleasant for an expensive stay.

Noisy in the night - kids running around Breakfast was too busy. Staff couldn't cope with replacing plates bowls etc Pancake Machine too slow for how busy it was, No pastries for over an hour and the toast machine didn't toast
The information said jacuzzi in pool yet not one there.

I don't do reviews. But i do stay in hotesl around that area every 2 weeks, premier inn , days inn, red wings, holiday inn, and obviously you start to learn the good and bad, but novotel was next level for the money!!! Well done! Great breakfast, friendly staff, nice avaliable pool , great shower, free parking! Great location!
Im trying to be fair , but even the homeless guy that approached me outside when I was smoking was polite and respectful. Oh yes there was 1 thing. My daughter didn't like the scrambled egg. But my fried egg and my sons were perfect!!!
