The pools are great and the breakfast was magic. The room was lovely and very comfortable.
Overall the building is getting a little tired and needs a refresh, but it didn't matter because it's an old building and that is understandable.
The staff were super friendly and professional.
We really liked having restaurants on site, the food were really good. The buffet breakfast was really tasty.
The kids loved the pool and grotto!
Had everything we needed and made the stay super pleasant.
It would have been nice to have more than 2 cups in the room for hot drinks (as there were 4 of us). Also getting clean cups as part of daily room service would have been nice but doesn't change overall was a really nice place to stay.
The executive suite exceeded expectations, was roomy , clean and felt like a little apartment. Breakfast each morning was very good.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing as half the staff didn't understand simple vegan dietary requirements and gave us bread that had eggs in it.

Size of the rooms, We ended up booking two standard rooms, even though one room would have been enough for all four of us. Also its breakfast is good and rooms are clean. Staff are amazing.
The building is very old, the carpet doesn’t give you good feeling. For the money I paid, I expected nicer hotel.

4. Shower pressure so hard it almost flooded the bathroom as was squirting everywhere while trying to shower

7. Cleaners didn't clean our room just pulled blankets up and replaced towels
8. Car park access -
•no information on it and access to and from it
• the car park is on the other side of the building and you have to walk through a gate into main street then down to the accomodation it's not nice when raining with kids
9. Room was cold and only a wall fan heater to warm it up
10. Not enough lights even with lights on the room was dim and dark.

The Pastries and Sausages at Breakfast.
Pastries are over baked - hard and dry. You are throwing away a lot of money each day. Prepare less and prepare them properly - it will go a lot further.
The sausages are horrible. Pieces of bone in mine on the first day and not good flavour.
Housekeeping did not remove dirty cups when they cleaned the room, nor did they replenish any of the coffee and sugar. Other than that, the room was in great condition.
I loved my room it was perfect - loved the lounge. I dont remember if there was a jug in the room - i dont remember seeing one but that coulve been helpful.
Loved the choices of food available especially the sticky date pudding and hearing the Maori music.
It would've been good to be able to join the buffet once the performance had ended.
This is just a me thing, no water cooler on the 2nd floor.
