Had a lovely dinner at Sunset Terrace at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace. The views over Lake Pichola at sunset were beautiful, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect.

A special thanks to Kailash for his warm and attentive service. He was friendly, courteous, and made sure we had a great dining experience. Looking forward to visiting again.

Mr. Bhanwar was really kind and helpful. The hospitality was great.

Disappointed the lake view pool was being renovated, but the nearby pool from Octopussy was a good substitute

We had a wonderful stay at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur. The hotel truly makes you feel as though you’re living in a royal palace. Its grandeur, heritage, and stunning location create an unforgettable experience.

The property is conveniently located with easy access to major attractions such as the City Palace complex, Karni Mata Temple, and Jag Mandir. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel’s beautiful Aarti ceremony at 6:00 PM each evening, which added a special cultural touch. We also enjoyed taking a boat ride around Lake Pichola to admire the beautiful ghats and the breathtaking views of the city.

Dining at the Sunset Terrace was another memorable experience. The restaurant offered a wide selection of authentic Indian dishes, all of which were delicious and thoughtfully prepared.

What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff was warm, courteous, attentive, and always eager to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. A special thanks to Govind Singh from Housekeeping, whose attention to detail and dedication made our stay even more comfortable. We would also like to recognize Lalit for an outstanding guided tour of the palace and the museum. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and engaging storytelling brought the rich history of the palace to life and made the experience truly memorable.

I also highly recommend taking the guided tour of the City Palace, Museum, and Crystal Gallery. It provides fascinating insight into the history and heritage of Udaipur and was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Overall, Taj Fateh Prakash Palace exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re visiting Udaipur and want to experience royal Rajasthani hospitality, this is an outstanding place to stay.

I had visited Taj Fateh Prakash and stayed there for a staycation - it was a surreal experience. The view of the lake and the Lake Palace was tantalising. The grandeur of the property, the richness of the rooms and the overall experience was something which we were truly blown away by. However, the best part of the stay was the ‘Tajness’ which defines the spectacular service quality at Taj properties stood out. I was celebrating a special occasion and everyone at the hotel made sure that our stay felt truly special. Shoutout to Ms Shruti who truly helped me make my occasion, special.

We had a truly memorable stay at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur, and I would especially like to recognize Mr. Lalit Singh Shekhawat for his outstanding hospitality and guest service.

From ensuring that our room and stay were aligned with our preferences to personally taking us around the beautiful property, Mr. Lalit made every effort to make our experience special. He also helped us with recommendations on local attractions and even clicked some wonderful pictures of my wife and me, creating memories that we will cherish for a long time.
