Pros:

Nice location, Wonderful breakfast, Friendly housekeepers.

Cons:

They neglected to notify us of a major paint project taking place inside the hotel in the rooms and hallways. I have lung disease and paid for 5 days. I had a bad headache and breathing problems tye entire stay. The girl at the front desk mistakenly overcharged me by $180.00 and after I discovered this, it took 2 days for my money to show up in my bank account. Upon checkout, we asked for a late checkout at 12pm(the loud guests next to us got a late 1pm checkout the day before), she threatened to charge me for a whole day. We were out by 12:15pm and she decided not to charge me but the whole experience was a nightmare.

Pros:

Great having breakfast included, lots to choose from. Close walk to beach and shops

Cons:

Water was out for showers for a while. We were told after we had paid for rooms, luckily didn’t inconvenience us too much.

IHG does not care about the Safety of there customers.
Pros:

The room and breakfast was okay. The elevator and area around elevator had trash that needed picking up.

Cons:

I did not like that there was a huge Safety issue and concern that was simply ignored. On our first night someone knocked at the door saying that they were maintenance, I did not respond to let them in. I called the front desk and advised that some was going around saying that they were maintenance and I was told that they actually were going around checking rooms because some people had complained about their televisions but I hadn't. Then I was told that all vacant rooms were being check in addition to the people who had called and my room was shown as vacant. They did not show that I had even checked in. This was very concerning as if there had been an emergency or problem, Holiday Inn would not have had a record of my even being there. This was unacceptable. I was told that the manager would follow with me but they never did. I called IHG customer service and advised of my experience and I was told again that I would be contacted. to date I have never heard anything. So, this overall experience leaves me to believe that IHG does not care about the safety of there customers.
