What a place!
Pros:

A delightful place with a wonderful staff of Looknam, Nannie, Jo, Mack and Baw. The food is excellent, the service is the best and the sea view is perfect! We ate there again and again. Best regards Mr Ivar and Ms Benedicte, Norway

Large property, 4 star at best. Not great value for money if you've stayed at plenty of 5 stars.
Pros:

Staff were friendly, smiling. Food via room service and breakfast buffet was great! Small children's bed in our room was nice. Decent balcony in room.

Cons:

There was pretty big construction happening and we were not told anything in advance. This is really poor customer service that they tried to make up for with a small discount on select items. Did not make up for it! Areas of the hotel were even closed. The property is a bit worn, not 5 star worthy. Kids play space way too small for size of resort, but the ladies who worked there were lovely.

Melia hotel.
Pros:

Fabulous hotel with lovely, warm, welcoming and attentive staff. Whilst all the staff were lovely, a special thanks must go to Kim, Pink, Fern, Zena Sochi and Matteo in ‘The Level’ area for always going the extra mile to make our stay so unforgettable. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, the facilities are immaculate and every meal we had was stunning. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff. Good amenities, although bar terrace under refurbishment for 2 weeks, with little impact but some construction noise. Great beach and lovely sea very warm. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

Cons:

Possibly insufficient sun beds if Hotel full and pool on small side if full. Should put a restriction on ball games in the pool at certain times to give people so time to swim and enjoy without dodging balls etc. Plan shower room usage with 15 mins between departing guests to allow for room to be cleaned as lots of dirty towels etc.

Amazing
Pros:

I stayed here solo and had a really great time, excellent value for a beachfront resort. The best part is definitely the lagoon pool that winds through the hotel grounds; it’s amazing for relaxing. The staff were all nice and friendly, and they made me feel super welcome. The rooms were lovely and roomy, and the beachfront location is pretty and peaceful. Breakfast had a good selection, and everything tasted high quality.

Cons:

Although my room was excellent, as it was on the ground floor, it could feel a bit dark at times.

Temizliği, çocuk havuzu ve restoranı gayet iyiydi. Personeller gayet yardımsever ve güleryüzlüydü. Kahvaltısı açık büfe ve çeşit olarak çok iyiydi. Kumsalda güzel aktiviteler yapıldı (ateş şovu vb.)

Cons:

Bir havuzu kapalıydı ve açılacağı söylenmişti. Fakat yetişmedi. Yetişse güzel olurdu. Golf arabaları özellikle kumsal tarafından alımlarda çok aktif değildi. Çocuk etkinlikleri daha çeşitli olabilirdi.

A Perfect Start and Finish to Our Wedding Week
Pros:

We would like to say a huge thank you to Faii and the team at Melia Koh Samui for helping create such wonderful memories for our wedding week.

Faii helped us organise both our welcome BBQ on the first evening that guests arrived and a relaxed post-wedding brunch the day after the wedding. From the very beginning, she was responsive, organised and incredibly helpful, keeping me informed throughout the planning process despite us coordinating everything from different countries.

The welcome BBQ exceeded all of my expectations. Set right on the beach at sunset, it was beautifully styled with large bean bags, cocktail tables, thoughtful table décor and personalised menus. It created the perfect atmosphere for our friends and family to meet and relax before the wedding celebrations began. Faii completely understood the vision and brought it to life beautifully.

We also stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was fantastic, and many of our guests chose to stay at the Melia too. This meant we were able to spend lots of quality time together around the pool and throughout the resort. While it isn't a direct sunset location, the evening skies were often painted beautiful shades of pink, making it a wonderful setting for gathering with friends and family.

The post-wedding brunch was equally lovely—calm, relaxed and exactly what everyone needed after the celebrations. There was a great selection of food, and it was the perfect way to spend a final few hours together before guests began travelling home.

We also faced several challenges in the lead-up to the wedding, including guest cancellations, flight changes and the uncertainty caused by the conflict affecting our home in Dubai. Throughout it all, Faii remained flexible, accommodating and supportive, helping us navigate changes with ease.

Thank you, Faii, for helping make both the beginning and the end of our wedding celebrations so special. We are incredibly grateful.
