This is exactly the hotel I imagined when I thought about a vacation in Thailand. Beautiful and spacious rooms, green everywhere, great food, pools all around the hotel, a beach with SUP boards and kayaks, a kids club. A paradise for kids!

Cons:

The shirt policy at the pool restaurant during the day. It felt a bit unnecessary for the outdoor area and could perhaps be more relaxed

Fabulous luxury beach resort for family holiday
Pros:

Hotel facilities are great, with direct access to the beach. Rooms were comfortable and we appreciated them being interconnected for the safety of our children and privacy for us. Breakfast was fantastic and dinner at the beach restaurant was phenomenal - great choices à la carte and good buffet options too. Staff was very helpful and attentive.

Cons:

There isn’t much to say but maybe to be even better, it would have been wiser to have larger bathrooms rather than larger outdoor terraces. In the wardrobe sections, you need to add more hangers and more shelves - it’s so much better when you can unpack all the suitcases, especially for longer stays.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Meliá Koh Samui. L’hôtel est magnifique, très agréable et parfaitement entretenu, mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c’est la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel.
Un grand merci tout particulièrement à Runi et Evan, qui ont été adorables, attentionnés et toujours disponibles pour nous aider et rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Merci également à toute l’équipe pour son accueil chaleureux, son professionnalisme et ses petites attentions au quotidien.
Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs de Koh Samui et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

The beach, the main pool

Cons:

The expectation was much higher from this level of an hotel. Many of the rooms smells and the solution is to put air purifier in them. There are no towels in the pool, you need to bring them from the room everyday, if in the middle of the day you need new towels you need to get it from the lobby or get them from the room after it was cleaned.
The level access lounge is very basic and you can’t even take the drink with you to the pool/beach area, so it’s basically useless and I preferred paying for the drinks instead, and many other “small” things that just make you want to go to a better hotel.

Luxury Family Holiday in Paradise with Extra Special Service 🌴☀️😍
Pros:

Had an absolutely great time at the Melia Koh Samui resort after a long week working in Bangkok and finally got to relax with my family who joined me from the UK for a 10 day holiday.
Special mention to the lovely and very kind Baw at the beach bar and restaurant, who looked after us every day, making sure that we were attending for and giving us the extra service level that you would expect from a 5* hotel but not often get by someone so genuine and happy to help.
When we return to Koh Samui, we will certainly come back to the Melia thanks to his attention and friendly yet discreet service.
I work for SCG which is a large Thai manufacturing group and will for sure mention the Melia Koh Samui hotel as a great venue for our work events.
Finally indulge in the full coconut spa package experience, it’s amazing!

Perfect stay in Koh Samui
Pros:

Perfect vacation in Melia Koh Samue. The rooms are huge and very conformable. All the team was very kind and helpfull.

The level lounge was absolutely fantastic. I want to Matheo and all the team that really made this vacation really unique and enjoyable.

I would also like to thank Moi for excellent Yoag and abdominal exercises classes - she is very knoledgable and kind

Ne vale la pena ! Ottima opzione per tutti.
Pros:

Piscina molto bella, spiaggia organizzata di fronte l’hotel, posizione ottima per godere sia della piscina che della spiaggia. Il The Level Area molto pratico e accogliente per una colazione in più tranquillità, aria condizionata e vista! Ottima la possibilità di poter usufruire di snack bevande e aperitivo. Struttura con moltissimo spazio verde e acqua grazie alla presenza della seconda piscina con accesso diretto alla camera.

Cons:

Proprio guardando al dettaglio, si potrebbero sistemare alcuni dettagli un po’ usurati della camera, considerando il livello dell’hotel.
