The location, the size
I needed to stay in Alaska a few extra days due to a broken leg, post surgery. I asked staff for help with securing a disabled room and a shower chair which was not available until day 2. Staff in general were not helpful with broken ice machine, take out breakfast etc. the facilities were adequate mainly just unfriendly, unhelpful staff.

Restaurant only has two options for dinner , so it will cover one or two nights but the variety doesn’t change. Too bad the dinner entry’s remain the same. The food was great!
We got a room and the heater was broken. The room was at 65 degrees and me and my girlfriend were chili. We asked if there was a possibility that we could get more blankets. The front desk apologized sincerely and upgraded our room at no extra charge. Very kind, the person treated us like humans. Most people do lol but I think it’s worth highlighting they did what’s right and pulled a very kind/cool move. They even let me stay a few hours more than when I was supposed to leave.

The beds were to hard and pillow to soft.
Bathroom and other areas in room were not clean.
As a housekeeper, myself I saw a lot of things that are not ok. Hair in the bathroom, glass door not clean. Mirrors cleaned with windex with smudges. Bed had hair on it.Towels were rough. Ice machine didn't work on the floor. Parking lot not plowed in the morning. The price was overprice for this room. The fan was loud.
The staff was friendly, quick, and helpful. They checked us in promptly and were quick to help us with any questions we had.
The hotel rooms and the hotel itself is a bit dated and in need of a modern renovation.
Room looked clean and was stocked with towels and coffee service
The staff saw me and my new wife in our wedding clothes (big flowy wedding dress and three piece suit) and didn’t say congratulations or even smile at us. The exasperated tone and eye rolls were so upsetting that I never want to stay in a Hilton again. A simple smile would have made the stay an ok one but just a comment about my wife and I’s biggest day would’ve make the stay a 10/10 without any effort. The room could’ve been overrun with mold if the staff was kind and actually cared about anything relating to the customer.
