Location was fantastic 👌 Building looked very impressive 👏
The room needs updating. The carpets are thread bare.. Bathroom had a horrible smell ,Like stagnant water.
Breakfast room was a shambles. No teabags. Croissants tasted fishy.. dirty plates on most tables.

The rooms are slightly dated and things were missing like lightbulbs and glass shower doors

The property is a lovely building with a lot of history and character
The room I stayed in (and probably most of the others!) is definitely over due a makeover. The walls looked dirty with scuff marks.
I was unable to close the window so could hear street noise and commotion late into the night, and was woken at 7am by building works directly outside the building.

The bathroom had a large step before you got into it. No walk in shower . And the window had clear glass in it and not frosted glass ( which I am led to believe is not legal)
