Clean and comfortable budget hotel.
Pros:

Location was great. Easy access to everything in Port Clinton and a short drive to Catawba Island and Marblehead.

Cons:

Breakfast offering at hotel was kinda sad. Cereal toast and coffee. But it is a budget hotel so we kinda expected that and grabbed breakfast out at Coffee Express in Port Clinton which is awesome!

Pros:

The first room we were given had a significant bug problem. Fortunately, the manager was very friendly and promptly moved us to another room. However, the new room had its own issues—it smelled strongly of smoke, there wasn't a tv, and the large jacuzzi tub was dirty. The manager informed us that Ed would be applying a discount to our stay, but when we checked out, the price remained unchanged. The woman at the front desk seemed unaware of any discount arrangement, and despite multiple attempts to contact Ed, he hasn’t responded. We still haven’t received the promised discount.

Cons:

At least give us a discount.

Excellent location, amazing staff, but noisy and not very clean.
Pros:

The location to the center of town and jet express location was prime! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room appeared to be recently renovated and the beds were pretty comfy.

Cons:

The corners of the room had other people's hair in them, the floor (which was tile or laminate) was not clean. We had a corner room next to an exit door and my god that door slams so loud all night long with people in and out. Put a soft close on it or something. It also would have been nice to have a mix of soft and firm pillows instead of having soft pillows.

We like the location and the man who works at the desk was very helpful & friendly

I think they should have had some sort of fruit/ apples oranges or banana & not those honey buns

Most places have some sort of bagels & I never saw those
