Lovely hotels with fantastic grounds, lovely staff that were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will return if we are in the area.

It's a beautiful hotel. Our room was a little bit too small for three of us, with a double and camp bed. The camp bed was also very flimsy and uncomfortable to sleep on. The staff were lovely though and the food was good.

Lovely hotel. Fab grounds. Excellent value. Only criticism is that the rooms are a little tired. However very clean and comfortable. There is no air con in the rooms so could be warm on a hot night

The staff are friendly and welcoming. It is a fantastic quiet location.

The whole place is a joke, no sauna no dressing gowns, the breakfast was self serving and very poor, plus the room was so hot it made me ill and the receptionist blamed COVID for everything 😂

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, especially the lovely receptionist. The lady cleaning was also very kind.The grounds are beautiful and our bedroom was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We definitely hope to come again.

Always enjoy this hotel overall- a little bit old fashioned for some on the decor side but overall rooms are a good size, service is good and hotel and grounds are lovely. Good option for local business travel needs

Place is stunning the building and grounds are immaculate and with a great deal of history to read and see. Checked in late and the night manager Ben was superb a lovely man who opened the bar for us for a quick pint. All of the staff were excellent I cannot rate highly enough and will certainly be staying again

I needed a break for a night and got a serene environment for it.

There was no air conditioning in the property and the room was stifling, had to keep window wide open all night but even with this and a small fan the heat was unbearable! Rooms are dated, traditional style in keeping with the building but could do with a make over feel old, TV's and furniture would benefit from an overhaul! Also found toenails on carpet behind the bin - reported this to reception!

There was a bit of mould on the grouting in the bathroom and some paint touch-up is required on the heating pipe in the bedroom area. The sash window and frame could do with some sprucing-up and aircon in the room is required. I understand that it is a period building, but I like modern conveniences too.

Stayed one night. We had been there before. Excellent for our needs.

Perfect venue for Hadley Wood Golf :-)

Last minute booking. Very convenient for Hadley Wood Golf club. Didn’t get a chance to explore or take advantage of the hotel facilities.
Would definitely like to return if in area again.
