Traditional, pampered and thoroughly enjoyable.
Pros:

We've stayed at this hotel before and so we knew it was very good. This room was a standard double, but is still much better than most hotel superior rooms. We spend the days out of the hotel anyway, so size of the room doesn't really matter but it was decent. The bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was hot and had decent power.
Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty - cooked, cereals, pastries, cheese, cold meats, etc etc. Coffee there is excellent. it's always a treat to stay here.

Cons:

the length of the time we stayed - far too short.

Amazing hotel
Pros:

We stayed here for 7 nights back in September and absolutely loved it!

The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were so polite. From reception to the bar, you were met with smiles and a good morning/good afternoon every time you walked in.

The hotel was spotless, both the public areas and our room. The house keeping staff cleaned our room to a high standard every day, refreshing towels and generally tidying up.

The food was the best we have eaten in a hotel, especially dinner in the evening. Each course was fresh and delicious. Drinks in the bar were reasonably priced and I enjoyed working my way down the cocktail menu!

The hotel is perfectly situated with the train station just a 20 minute walk away, the park just round the corner and the beach and shops opposite.

I can’t recommend this place enough, it has the real wow factor and we won’t hesitate to return if we find ourselves visiting the area again.
