Nice option for a stay i Venice.
Pros:

Previously I have stayed in Venice itself. We chose this hotel for mainly four reasons: price, previous reviews, proximity to the vaporetto and aircon. Aircon because it was very hot in northern Italy when we ordered. We had two rooms. A double room. It was spacious. The single room was a bit smaller as expected, but definitely good for one person. There is a small outdoor area. Very nice staff. Lots of restaurants nearby. Grocery store within walking distance. All in all a very good option for the price. Please note that there are stairs up to the rooms.

Pros:

The location is very convenient, close to the Lido vaporetto stop. We also appreciated being allowed to leave our backpacks at the hotel during the day after check-out, although there is no dedicated secure luggage storage area.

Cons:

The air conditioning in our room was not working. We arrived late in the evening during a heatwave, when it was around 34°C outside, and there was nobody at reception, so there was no possibility of getting help. Opening the window did not make any difference, and the room was so hot that we could only manage to fall asleep using a wet sheet.

What was most frustrating, however, was the reaction the next morning. When we reported the problem, instead of an apology or any acknowledgement, the first response was essentially to question whether there was a problem at all: “It is green, meaning it works” and “Did you try opening the window?” After such an uncomfortable night, this attitude was particularly disappointing.

The staff at breakfast were also very rude. In general, the lack of helpfulness and basic courtesy was more disappointing than the technical problem itself.

It is also worth knowing that there is nobody at reception after 1 pm, which can be a problem if something goes wrong later in the day.
